Chapter 16

Agnarr POV🌊

I couldn't find Iduna, my eyes are trying to spot a lavender gown, but there will be always someone trying to talk to me.

"Your majesty? The-"

"Time, Lord Wilhelm?" I ignored what he was trying to say, anyways I wouldn't expect anything good from him.

"Half past seven, your majesty." He replied.

I could tell he was trying to lead me towards some bunch of ladies that I wasn't interested to talk with, most of them have really pale faces which kind of scares me.

"Isn't it time to meet arendelle?"

"What- your majesty you have been here less than an hour you couldn't-"

"It looks like I greeted everyone, as a king shouldn't I go receive my people?" I stood still.

"But-"

"He is right Lord wilhelm, you wouldn't defy the king wouldn't you?" Duke Lukas came and wink towards me.

"I will take care of this, and she is outside." He whispers to me as I went out of the ballroom.

Guards are somehow accompanying me outside, which felt it was extra if I went out with them.

"You all are dismissed." I ordered as I went out alone.

As the doors open, I could see the people are dancing around the square while festive music are playing. I scan around the square and I found her.

"Your majesty!" I turned and saw a young boy.

"Good to see you, where is your mother?" I kneel towards his height.

"Dancing with Iduna." He pointed.

He even knows her name, he looks young enough to be able to read. I then ruffled his hair and quickly walk toward her.

"Your majesty!" People started noticing me as I walk towards her, I gave a slight nod and soon I was behind her.

The lady who was dancing with her was so shock as she saw me and quickly curtsy, leading her falling towards me.

"Iduna?" She then lift her head and stared at me with her sapphire eyes.

"Agnarr? What a surprise." I pull her up as she dust her gown.

"Your majesty!" As everyone greets me again.

"Your majesty." She curtsy infront of me, saying it in a much formal tone. It quite sudden as I have never heard it from her mouth for quite long.

I then gave a slight laugh to cheer up the tense atmosphere, which they thankfully replied with a laugh as well.

"Would you like to join the dance?" Iduna gave her hand out.

"Why not." I accepted her hand and she pulled me along and we are now dancing in a huge circle.

It was fun, just like old times, and I could communicate with my people while dancing with her, it's like killing two birds with one stone.

Somehow I just got an urgent to confess to Iduna.

"Would you like to go to somewhere private?"

"Wha-"

"I will take that as a yes." I hold her hands and trying to lock our hands together.

We walked into the royal garden, and sat near the tree, just like how I dreamed today.
