Agnarr POV🌊

It's been two months since my father's death, and with the push from uncle and Iduna, I slowly gotten used to the loss of my father and went on with life, And in this two months plenty of things have happened.

Uncle have step up and became the regent, I was quite relieved of that decision, if it was someone else, I wouldn't know what to do as I wasn't familiar with the councils at all.

And of course, my journey as being king started, the council have started given me some work to do, like reports of the daily life's of arendellains and problems I could help out, but with uncle guiding me step by step, I got the hang of it.

Iduna is now the librarian of the royal library and I allowed all the citizens of arendelle to come whenever they want to pick out any books, and my uncle agreed to it, which is irony to me as I thought I would plead him awhile to let iduna stay.

Even though I am flooded with my kingly duties, I would always set some time off with iduna to start on our new book. We are still in midst of writing the newly written mermaid book, hopefully it would be finished soon.

My uncle has started to trust Iduna more as her friendliness melts him down, he sometime complimented her for such intriguing acts.

She also planted lavenders in the garden which smells fantastic, and sometimes she would pluck the leaves and make tea for everyone in the castle.

She's furthermore brightened up the mood of the castle by helping out on whenever she can, I even heard the staff complimenting her actions.

She would calm me down whenever I have a mental breakdown and she voluntarily come in my room every night to tell bedtime stories and share our 'little secret', which lead to us became best buddies we could ever have.

Soon winter is coming, the flag of arendelle is up again after a month of mourning for my father. The whole castle is prepping for the festive season.

I stared out the window looking at snowflakes falling as I saw people flooding in the gates.

"BOO!"

"Iduna!" I jumped up a little as I saw her in her long-sleeve blue winter wear with her purple scarf hanging around her neck as usual.

"Why are you looking so sad, aren't you looking forward to Christmas?" She exclaimed.

"This year won't be the same, my parents aren't here with me, I would be ringing the Yule bell alone."

FLASHBACK------------------------

It was my parents and I ring the bell when I was four, all the citizens all applauded as once the Yule bell rang the festival starts.

We would all dance together in the middle of the square town and bath ourselves with snow, and hang our wishes on the tree of light.

After everyone left to do their own traditions, my family would knit socks together and hang it near the fireplace, at the end the day we would play charades for the night.

Flashback ends-------------

I never knew that I would lose my parents at such a young age, I thought I could enjoy the wonderful Christmas annually, but death cuts it off harshly.

Iduna hold my hands and said, "You have me."

"AND US!" choruses all the staffs.

"Come let's go out and meet the people, they are probably excited to meet you to see you ring the bell." As she pulled me out to hallways.
