Chapter 6

Third person POV

"Your grace, about the regency?"

Duke Lukas walked around the room looking worried, it was these few times he felt afraid in his life.

He had never like politics, arguing with people wasn't his thing, he was only here because to guide his young nephew who isn't ready for the throne.

"I will think about it."

As when entered the room, many dukes, lords and counts kept shooting him question like.

'How is prince Agnarr?'

'Is he ready for council meeting?'

'About the enchanted forest.....'

So much frustration in the late morning, questions and the last thing he wants to bother about is a random young girl who saved his nephew.

He isn't suppose to be worried about her, but her background glitches him most, even with much persuasion from his dear old friend Marilyn, he instinct tells him differ.

"Council meeting is dismiss!" As he heard the sentence, he was the first to exit the room.

"Your grace where are you heading?" Kai asked him.

"Where is that girl?"

"With his majesty, your grace." As Kai said it, Duke Lukas stopped.

The plan was never suppose to go that way, she was to wait till he verified if she is safe around Agnarr before meeting him.

"Where are they!" He growls.

"The library."

The Duke quickly stride his way to the library that was originally closed due to his sister.

Why are they there? It is out of bounds.
He kept repeating the questions in his head.

As he is nearing the library he heard laughter, he went in he saw a plate of buttermilk pancakes on the table and two ladies curtsy towards him.

The ladies look at the direction where the laughter came from, the Duke went towards it and saw his nephew laughing as she did a strange action which made him smirked.

He had never saw his nephew smiled much before she was here, he wasn't able to make him that happy but she did it, is this fate? He asked himself.

"Your grace, about them."

"It's ok, let them be, he has been moody these few days, a little laughter would help him."

He saw Kai smiling too, Kai got what he meant and bowed.

"And also bring in one more plate of breakfast for that young girl, let them have breakfast together then." He said before smiling and leaving.

She is useful in her ways. He thought to himself.
