“So, what are your dorm mates like, Liz? Ours are fine, Peter’s a bit shy, Remus fell asleep immediately so we couldn’t talk to him and Kingsley seems pretty cool.” The boys told Liz all about their dorm mates and now it was her turn.
“Well, Marlene is cool, Dorcas is really funny, Mary is sweet and I think you guys would like Lily, she’s loads of fun.”
They sat next to Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew at breakfast and Remus wolfed his food down really quickly and then laid his head on the table and dozed off.
“Quite peculiar, isn’t it? We had a whole feast yesterday and I’m sure he fell asleep the first and woke up the last. He wouldn’t need much food or sleep normally, would he?” James said when Remus fell asleep.
“Yeah, and he slept a few hours on the train too! What do you think is going on?” said a squeaky, shy voice. It belonged to Peter.
“Yes, it’s strange, but maybe the boy woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t sleep. I don’t think it’s a big deal.” Liz said.

Liz felt someone tap her shoulder in the common room.
“Hi, Liz, right? Sorry to bother you, but could you help me with this transfiguration task? I don’t really get it and professor McGonnagal said you are great so I was thinking…”
“Yes, of course! You’re Remus, right?” she asked.
He nodded
“So what do you need help with? Oh, hi guys!” James and Sirius just entered the common room. They sat at either side of her.
“What’s up? Doing transfiguration?” Sirius asked
“Yeah, I’m just finishing up, so Remus, what do you need help with?”
The transfiguration homework was long forgotten when James, Sirius, Remus, and Liz finished talking. They talked, joked and hung out until late into the night.
