Your Pov

Its been a week since I'm living with Scott and it's been the best week in my whole life. Yesterday we went to Lizzie and Joel and I got to meet Meri and Buddy. They are sooo adorable! Tommorow is my birthday and Scott told me he has a surprise for me. I wonder what it is. Next month school also starts... Last time I went to a public school was about 5 years ago... At home I'm now starting to get more and more comfortable around Scott which is pretty impressive for a person like me.

"Y/n!" I heard Scott call me from the downstairs. I ran down the stairs into the kitchen. "Yes?" I asked. "I'm making a lasagne and I ran out of cheese. Could you go to the shop around the corner and get some?" Scott asked me while washing his hands. "Of course" I answered. He gave some money and I went to the shop. 3 minutes from our house there was a small local store so that was good. I took some cheese and went to the cashier. "Hello" I said making sure I was polite. "Hello" Said the woman. "Aren't you the girl that DangThatsALongName adopted?" She asked. "Um.. yes that's me" I smiled. "He's a good guy, your lucky to get adopted by someone like him" The lady said as I payed her. "Well Thank you" I said taking the change and saying 'goodbye'.

When I got back home I was pleasantly surprised with a guest. Lauren came to visit all the way from America! "So Lauren, this is y/n" Scott said introducing me to Lauren. I watched Lauren's videos so I already knew who she was. "Hii!" Lauren said giving me a hug. "Omg I love your hair" She said complementing my blue ends. "So how was your trip?" Scott asked her while I went to put the thing I bought in the kitchen. "Oh it was fine, there were some weird people on the plane thought" she said. "By the way where are you staying?" "I've already talked with Yammy and I'm staying for the weekend at her house" "Ok"
"Oh I actually have a present for you y/n" Lauren said giving me a box. "Thank you" I took the box and sat on the couch. I opened it and inside was the Dexter plushie! I wanted one so badly but I didn't have enough money to buy one.

Next day

Today is my birthday. I woke up quite early. I looked at the time. It was 8.20am. I went downstairs and saw that Scott was still sleeping. I made myself some cereals (or other food of your choice) and went back to my room. I turned on my laptop and watched some YouTube videos. It was 10am when I heard a noise in the hall. Scott was most likely awake. He told me yesterday that he had to go somewhere. I was on Yammy's one Life server when he knocked on my door. "Ye?" I asked as he walked in. "Happy birthday y/n!" He said with a little cupcake with a candle. "Aww thank you!" I said thinking of a wish and blowing the candle. I wished that Scott never abandoned me. I really hope I don't have to go back to the orphanage, or that this isn't just a dream. "Like I said yesterday I'm so sorry but I have to do something so I'll be back a bit later, don't open the door to anyone. Lizzie has a spare key so she will come pick you up later and then I will have a surprise for you. Of you'll get hungry you have some lasagna left from yesterday" Scott explained everything to me. "Ok" I answered taking the cupcake from him. It was delicious. "See you later" He said hugging me.
