Irene Received A Call

As a blue foldable phone rang nearby her, Irene grabbed it to unfold and answered.

"Hello?"

"Irene?"

She gasped, "Father?!"

"Irene. Are you okay now?"

"Iitarou.. I'm fine. How did you get this number?"

"There was a 'Stand' ability to actually send someone into any alternate universes by the user's desire. It's called [Words]. Do you still remember that?"

"Uh.. Wait.."

Irene scratched her head, trying to remember of what happened in her past.

"You don't need to recall it, Irene. I'm just trying to make it easy for you."

"But dad! How can you actually call me?"

"I'm using this other 'Stand' right now."

"Huh?! Which one?"

"[Stereo Love] is the name. It comes in a form of a purple phone. It enables a person to call people from various universes."

"Who's its user?"

"Annakiss."

"Annakiss?! My boyfriend?!"

"Good grief. He didn't tell you?"

"Why..? Wait.. I think he told me about that."

"How did he tell you about it?"

"He said he had a call with Patch."

"Who's Patch?"

"A Guardian character, I guess?", Irene half lied.

"'Guardians'.. I've met them before."

"You did? That's why you didn't come home for once?"

"Yes. I'm sorry, Irene. I was apparently attacked by the 'Stand' I talked about."

Irene had tears in her eyes, "Did you interact with them? Did they do something to hide?"

"Hide?"

Irene gasped, "Oh! Sorry.. Actually, the Guardians are in a private organisation, so.. I don't want to reveal too much of it."

"They already told only a few details of their roles, so you don't have to worry too much about it."

"The basics?"

"Yes. Just the basics."

"Phew.. Thank goodness. I never knew a man like my father already know how to handle a secret from the Real Life Universe.."

"Well, I'm not in the same universe as the so-called Real Life. Do you still remember the Reset Universe?"

"Ah! Our universe! That's where I met Emporio!"

"Who was that?"

"Uh.. You don't know him?"

"Sorry, no."

"He claimed to be originated from the Real Life world."

"I searched from this universe 'Stand' and I see no signs of him in the Real Life world. But based on the data, he originated from the JoJo Universe."

"JoJo? Then what about Jolyne?"

"Jolyne? Is that your alternate universe Counterpart?"

Thinking back about her appearance and her relationships, Irene then spoke, "The Guardians said so. It seems they knew about Jolyne as a spirit within me. That's what they said about me."

"Be careful, Irene. You got to keep this 'Stand' topic as a secret between the two of us. 'Stands' can't co-exist within the Video Game world due to its system. So, try your best to keep it neutral."

"Okay, Dad. Thanks."

He hung up and Irene put down her phone, still having an image of a familiar face with a short green braid behind her neck.
