The Phantom Menace

Mumbo POV 
I had AFK in my farms for two hours...hopefully to get some drops out of them. I sat there for a while trying to move but can't. I just so managed to open my chest and get the bucket of water I needed 

I put some pills in my mouth and downed the water. I felt some sudden pain in my throat and let out a scream. 'It's so painful every time!' I thought but I have to deal with it if I want some more work and keep improving myself 

I quickly got my stuff from the chest and quickly got out of my space Only to be met with some intense screeching 

"PHANTOMS INCOMING!!!" 

I got completely knocked over by a phantom but no damage was taken '...Am I dreaming or something?!'  "Mumbo!" A delighted little man said giggling "want to go out to scare people with me?" He asked still laying on my chest...I want to breath "I would love to bu-but I would like to have air" I said 

The phantom got off of me as I got a better look at the man in front of me....It's Grian 'How did I not know that?! You're such an IDIOT'

"So would you like to join me or not???...uh please?" Grian looking excited for my answer 'I have work..I guess I can take a break but after I need to work twice as hard!' "Of course!" I said giving a smile 

Grian did a mid air spin laughing in excitement "You are officially one of us! This is going to be so much fun!" He then gave me a phantom mask "now put this on!" He said 

I took off my helmet and put it on..kinda a little too tight for my moustache but it was ok 

"Doc is online at he moment how about we scare him" I suggested. His face lit up "Yes! Oh I haven't seen him in a while" He hugged me while I tried to locate Doc 

"He's on top of Area 77...but we are not  aloud to go there" I said playing with my moustache. The builder sighed as he put his hand over my shoulder lowering me down to his level

"Mumbo Jum Jum.. WE are phantoms! And we don't follow rules! WE are the rulers of the night!" He put one of his hands to the sky while the phantoms which were following him the whole time spins around the moon

"Now My dear phantoms! We shall go the Docm77 to scare him!!" He shouts at the Phantoms as he pulled me to take off 

Looking down I saw many hermits either hanging out or buying things but they always looked up in terror as we flew in the moonlight 

Chat: 

Impulse: There are a lot of phantoms today huh?

GoodTimesWithScar: looks like the Phantom Menace is here to visit

Stressmonster: Well good luck to whoever gets caught 

DocM77 POV 

I was enjoying the view on top of Area 77. Taking a well deserved break from all the research I've done these days. I got bored and decided to look in the chat

'The Phantom Menace? He haven't appeared for a long time' I giggled a bit as I thought of the poor face of a hermit being chased by many many Phantoms 

'A man who can befriend one of the most feared creatures of the game and can make them do what they what under the comforts of the darkness...truly interesting. I wonder can I meet them one day' 

From a distance I heard many noises...'looks like the Phantom Menace is coming for me. It's my lucky day' I smiled as I pulled out my sword ready for the many mob coming at me with their leader 

I turned around to see Not 5 Not 10 but 20 Phantoms accompanied by the leader himself and...Someone else. Never knew he has recruits

"WE! The rulers of the night would like to challenge you! MR.Docm to a battle between us!" The Menace said himself as his assistant looked a bit surprised and questioned something but got a little punch from the leader Phantom "Well if you ask this nicely I must accept" I answered got to my battle stands. I watched as the Menace whispered something to his assistant then gave him a stick 

The Phantom Menace held up his own stick and said in confidence "Then we shall begin!" he said with the moon right behind him. Can't say that didn't look cool at all. He flew to me with full speed with his 10 phantoms behind his tail 

This would be fun 

Phantom Menace POV

A fight wasn't what I said to Mumbo but it was the best way to get him to join me 

I flew made sure to get the first hit off of Doc as my phantoms followed behind. He is quick with PVP so it's expected "Scatter!" I said hearing it being echoed though the sky 'so cool!' My crew flew towards him from left to right making it hard to dodge 

Doc got hit twice! "Impressive Doc" I said to him as I charged at him stepping on his sword. He threw me like I was a doll before I can even hit him! Rude 

I hit my head on a tree. I growled in pain as I tried to stand. The creeper scientist turns as he walks towards me with falling phantoms behind him "Now Phantom Menace you've lost" he put his sword to my neck looking sinister as ever 

"Have you forgotten about me?" A voice said behind Doc as he grabbed him by the shoulders and pulled him back "So I need to fight you too..Bring it on" 

Seeing these two battle was...weird indeed. Mumbo was never the one to be aggressive and he does fight very well. Dodging the attacks like never before It makes me think he being a spoon was just an act to trick everyone to see that he is dumb and weak...but either way he was winning the fight without the phantoms helping at all

I looked up and noticed the sky was going light blue...and realised 'We don't have time!' 

"PHANTOMS WE NEED TO GO!! THE NIGHT IS ENDING!!!" I shouted as both Mumbo and Doc turned to me. I grabbed my rockets and shot off with Mumbo and Doc following short behind. My mask,elytra and clothes is starting to burn because of the sun but not Mumbo's...

"Look, go and retreat I'll take care of this!" I shouted at my ally "But! What about you?" he said worried "don't care! Go Go Go!!!" I said. He stopped  in a sec but then shot his rocket to got far away 

I tackled Doc as he was trying to fly to mumbo as I feel my skin burning more and more...

ThePhantomMenace was burnt to death while trying to escape Docm77
