Am I going to get fired

Adrian
"Is dad going to be joining us for dinner", I asked
"Your dad isn't as strong as he is before ", said my mum
     "Okay mum", I said feeling terrible for asking such a question
    "Thank you for the meal , Mrs Anderson", said Claire
   "You should stop the formalities dear just call me Kate ", said my mum smiling
   "Okay Kate ", said Claire smiling
"Adrian pass me the suace", said Adrianna just like old times
    " Why don't you get it yourself short hand ", I teased her
   "Who are you calling short hand ", said Adrianna
  "Hmm kids no food fight happening on my table tonight so quit the teasing and pass your sister the sauce" , said my mum
   "She didn't even say please", I said
"She didn't even say please", Adrianna mimicked"quit whining",
"Mum", I called
"Aren't they such a kid , tell me how do you cope with him", said my mum to Claire who smiled
    "Will you pass the sauce already", said Adrianna
       "Fine I feel like I'm the responsible one here ", I said
  "Go ask Richard what responsibility means , the poor guy  cleaned up the shit you left us 6 years ago", said Adrianna and this led to an ackward silence as we eat the dinner silently
    I knew this was going to happen sooner or later but I wasn't expecting to hear it this early now I know I can't escape it or think of avoiding it.
    "So are we going to talk about all the things that's being going on since we have arrived like the things you have hidden from me like your family wealth, your dad being sick and why you left all this for 6 years or am I not important enough to at least know this about you, I've never felt more of a stranger in our relationship until this day what else do I not know about you Adrian", said Claire
    "This isn't the right time to tell you ,no one knows why I ran away from home okay just give me a week after that we will leave this place okay I want you to know our place isn't here okay we will leave this place settle down in America and never come back here okay" , I said as I held her face
   "Just give me a week after that our lives will go back to the way it was okay", I said
"Okay ", said Claire
"Thank you, thank you" , I said as I hugged her.

Cinthia's POV
After managing to escape the series of questions thrown at me by Mia and Judy , I settled in my office with no work to do until a few hours later when I saw my boss leave the office so my day went well I guess.
    "Hey I'm home ", I said as I saw my mum cooking in the kitchen
"Hey sweetie how was your day ", asked my mum as she passed me a glass of cold juice
      "It was okay", okay so maybe I lied well parents aren't supposed to be told everything I guess "hmm this is delicious mum you always know what I need ", I said smiling
    " That's why I'm your mum, go freshen up dear ", said my mum as she collected the empty glass
        Today was just like every other day , Tyler comes home late due to his work ,well my Casanova brother Kyle is on one date or another with an employee from work where he works as an hotel manager of one of dad's chains of hotel and my sister always on a never ending shopping adventure with her friends and my mum always around in the evening from her florist just down the town then there's my favorite person in the world , he's the master mind of this Harrison sudden vacation yet we still have no idea why everyone was told to come home my dad he's a busy man well with golfs and his business which he will eventually pass down to either of the two brothers of mine in the house and there is the cute me, well I've got nothing interesting to tell as of right now maybe because
My boss got so close to me today and also I think I have being followed ,I just don't have the evidence yet but I'm pretty sure someone is following me
" Wake up sleepy head,dad wants us down in 5", said Pricilia as she pulled away the blanket
     what a wonderful morning why can't I be allowed to sleep some more it's weekend after all
   Getting down stairs to meet the whole family seated in the dining made me embarrassed since I knew I was the reason everyone was salivating over the past twenty minutes
   Maybe I'm not so good with time
       "You are early", said my dad as he looked at me and glanced at his wristwatch
"Sorry Dad , good morning", I said as I kissed his cheek before settling down
"Alright let's pray ", said my mum
"Thank you Lord for the food,for the provision and for those you provided to prepare it , Lord bless us and the hands that prepared it and Lord provide for those who don't have anything to eat. Thank you Lord for answering our prayers in Jesus name we have prayed", said my dad as we all held hands with our eyes closed
    "Amen ", we all chorused then we began to eat
" I brought us all together as a family to relive old times and make happy memories"
   Are we lacking happy memories in our family,why didn't I know about it maybe because there's more to the story than what dad is giving out
     "So that's it ", asked Tyler as he found his way around the piece of sandwich
       "Seriously dad that's why Tyler and Kyle had to come home , for making "happy memories", asked Pricilia as she pushed her plate slightly away from her
      "Do something bad have to happen before we can come together as a family ", asked my dad
     "Kids your dad has a point , if not for this you two would only come home once this year and that is for Thanksgiving ", said my mum
       "Maybe we have something more important to do than to stay here all our lives ", said Tyler as he stood up to leave
     "Can we just have a nice happy breakfast as a family ", I said as everyone turned to look at me
    "What , is not only dad who wants to make happy memories ",I questioned as I looked at them all
      "Quit wanting to be his favorite , Cinthia ", said Pricilia as she stood up to leave
      "Anyone who leaves this breakfast will have his allowance cut by the end of the day ", said my dad
    And here goes normalcy well who doesn't love money , maybe my family isn't such an happy one as I described , no family is perfect I guess
     "So you were saying dad", asked Pricilia as she found her way back to the seat she left a minute ago
    "We are going to visit an old friend of mine", said my dad
   Well my dad has an old friend ,that is  breaking news cos the last time I checked they were called business partners

    Waking up the next morning in my old room reminded me of my childhood as I found myself staring at the room , it was just as I left it except it was cleaned regularly since it was neat.
         Everything was just as I left it but things only got worse after I left it , running through the old park at 5:30 am was something I always do every morning with Richard my best friend/brother , he was someone I have always wanted to be like maybe it's because Dad always made me want to become him, he's someone I could call perfect Dad's favorite. But I never cared until 6 years ago when I ran away from home , I just didn't want to be a copy of my brother I just wanted to be me but who cares .
