  The cool breeze of the night led me towards the pool.

      Okay take that back Cinthia just tell  the  truth, just tell them you got lost again and that's how you ended up in the pool staring at Richard who was busy drinking
 
       "Hey", I said silently calling for a truce .

    Then he turned to look at me .

   "Why are you always here , can't you ever leave me alone", asked Richard as he turned to look away drinking.

      "Well I can ask you the same thing, why are you always upset when talking to me, can you ever say something nice to me", I asked.

     "Do not ever forget who it is you are talking to, I'm your boss woman and besides I don't see the reason I should waste my time talking to you so who are you ", asked Richard drinking.

      "I get that you are my boss but now you know who I am , I'm Cinthia Harrison, does that ring a bell ",I asked.

     "So , that's just your name", said Richard.

     "My dad knows your dad which means we are family friends and that means you are expected to talk nicely to me just the same way you have been communicating with the rest of my family so why can't you do the same for me",I asked.

    "Are you in love with me ", asked Richard plainly.

      "Wait what!  no ", I said immediately frowning.

   "Then that's easy just stay away from me simple so now leave me alone", said Richard as he stood up holding a file staggering cos he seemed drunk.

     "Who hurt you ",I asked silently.

  "What! ", said Richard as he stopped walking and turned to look at me .

   "I said who hurt you , if not then why are you always so sad and grumpy, you got angry the other day at the office and injured yourself and today you are here  drinking all by yourself while a party is going on, so tell me are you hurt ", I asked a bit upset now .

     "You know nothing about what you are talking about and yes quit showing up in front of me and talking to me, I feel like you love me so you always want my attention", said Richard.

      "Quit saying nonsense and stop changing the topic", I said.

     "Why , why are you always appearing in front of me, why can't you just mind your business and leave me alone", said Richard at the top of his voice .

         "I didn't choose to appear in front of you okay, and yes I am not one of those ladies who always run after you because of your money or wealth so will you quit insulting me",I said.

    "So now you feel insulted , just get lost Cinthia", said Richard as he staggered away.

      This was the first time I heard my name on his lips, it would have sounded better if he didn't use it to ask me to "get lost", I don't know why I always find myself thinking about him and for the last time Mr Richard Anderson I don't love you , I know I don't.

      Well when did I decide to leave the party and end up meeting Mr Grumpy -  secret that's my boss new nickname, it is sticking for now
