The choking smell of alcohol filled my nose as I struggled to get free but the strong hand of the man pinning me to the bed made my struggling futile , his hand roughly caress my skin as he groped my nipple then the tears fell and a series of screams left my mouth.
Then a hand shook me"Cinthia, Cinthia",
"Cinthia", said the voice again
Shivers run down my spine as I opened my eyes to see that it was just a nightmare , yet it felt so real , like it was happening to me again.
"Are you okay, you look pale", said Adrianna
"I'm alright thanks, I must have slept off", I said
"Yeah, it's kind of getting late now, I'm on my way home so come on", said Adrianna
"Okay thanks", I replied
Then Claire came in "Hey", said Claire
"Hey Claire, we were just on our way ", said Adrianna
"Alright bye", said Claire smiling
Getting out of the hospital, Adrianna drove us to a restaurant.
"I thought you said home", I questioned glaring at her
"You look hungry , come on", said Adrianna . She opened the door and got out leaving me behind contemplating whether to remain in the car or not
The restaurant wasn't really fancy but it was homely as we found ourselves a table.
I didn't realize how hungry I was until I found myself digging right into the bacon
"I have realized I don't know much about you", said Adrianna smiling
"Same here",I said
"Then let's get to know each other, so tell me a little about yourself", said Adrianna
"I'm twenty two , I just got a new job last week as an assistant and my boss is your brother Richard",I said while she looked suprised
"You are really working for my brother", she asked for the fifth time
"Yeah ", I said
She clapped her hand smiling like a child whose mum just gave to her ,her favorite thing in the world "I'm totally shipping you two", said Adrianna
"Don't even think about it, now tell me about yourself ", I asked
"I'm twenty four, I have lived my entire life as a princess, everything about my life is on the news, you can easily know things about me by clicking my name into Google, I had a friend once but she got into an accident and since then I haven't heard about her and many who wants to be my friend ,want it only because of my parents' wealth so I have hardly had real friends, someone who I can share my feelings with without it being on the news the next day", Adrianna sighed as she sipped her drink
"I know what that feels like but it shouldn't stop you from making friends", I said
"Yeah you are right, so do you have a boyfriend", asked Adrianna
"No I don't", I replied trying to hide my frown
"Definitely shipping you two ", said Adrianna smiling
So maybe my day wasn't that horrible, besides I had a great time with Adrianna and it really relieved my stress
Oh yes, let's not forget my sister who has been giving me the evil eyes everytime we were together.
"Hmmm, mum when are we leaving",I asked
"Soon ", said my mum
Okay something is definitely wrong, my mum doesn't reply with one word unless she's stressed about something
"Mum, is everything okay",I asked but she didn't reply
"Mum, are you okay", I asked
"Cinthia, I'm alright so don't worry okay", said my mum
She wouldn't tell me but I definitely know something is bothering her
Later in the evening, we all sat down in the dinning as the Harrison and Anderson, even Adrian and Claire was back.
"There's no better place to be than in the midst of my family and friends", said James as he made a toast
"So cheers to family and love", said James raising his glass of water
"Cheers", we all chorused
The dinner wasn't ackward since my brothers had gotten closer to Adrian over the couple of days even Richard was making little conversations with Tyler and I had gotten closer to James and Kate,they are really nice people.
"So Cinthia, tell me about your plans for the future", asked James and pretty much everyone eyes was on me by now
Okay so here is a hidden meaning to that question, when are you getting married,do you have a man in mind
"I don't have one as of right now, I would like to be independent first",I replied as I looked at him
"That's nice so how do you like my son", said James
The falling of my spoon wasn't a comparism to the heavy silence that befell the room or the water splashed out of Adrian's mouth or the coughing of Richard or my sister's knocking the glass over .
"Why do you all look startled ", said Kate smiling
"Cinthia, you haven't answered my question, how do you see my son ", said James
"Dad, what is going on", asked Richard then Kate held his hand
"Cinthia , how do you see Adrian", said James
So maybe this would be a good time to faint , Cinthia
