Claire's POV
  Maybe Richard wasn't so wrong when he told me Kate was softhearted so what he told me worked and now I'm faced with the challenge of making sure Adrian hates Cinthia,if they only keep fighting before they even get married or engaged that would leave Cinthia with no other choice but to call off the wedding after all she has no reason to get married to Adrian knowing she was in love with Richard.
         So where were we
      Here.
The giggling of the ladies in the room brought me out of my reverie as I watched Cinthia come out of the dressing room after trying out her engagement gown which was a custom gown.
      I was the one meant to be dressed in that,Adrian was supposed to marry me.
This new anger made me dig my nails into my skin as I tried to calm myself down.
        Kate is not so nice after all since she made me come here so I could watch them all go lovey-dovey on Cinthia,she knew I would be upset or sad ,wicked woman.
      So I picked up my phone and did what I do best manipulate Adrian so relax and watch the show.
      "Hey babe", said Adrian on the phone
   "Hey handsome", I said loud enough for the women in the room to hear before I left the room.
       "Could you please pick me up at the boutique,I missed you", I said so lovingly.
       "Now let's just see how you get yourself out of this Cinthia", I said smiling as I twirled my phone before going into the room .
     "Claire thank God you are here,what do you think about this dress, it's for you", said Kate smiling as she gave it to me.
     "It's beautiful", I said faking a smile
   "Good", said Kate .
    "This is really a dream come true for me,you know I'm glad my daughter finally found the right man to marry", said a
Jane smiling as she held Kate's hand.
         "It's the best feeling in the world", said Joe smiling as she watched Cinthia come out of the dressing room in a blue gown ,it was actually pretty.
      "Wow", said Adrianna smiling as she stood up and twirled Cinthia in the air.
     "I think this is the one", said Cinthia smiling as she turned to look at the ladies in the room.
       "You are absolutely right my dear", said Jane smiling.
        "Hmm Adrianna and Claire why don't you girls also go try out your dress ", said Joe smiling.
      "Alright aunt, let's go Claire", said Adrianna smiling as she grabbed my hand.
       "I'm sorry this had to happen to you ", said Adrianna when we got to the dressing room for two .
          "It's not your fault", I replied with a fake smile
      "You still here makes me believe you plan to fight my dad's decision of getting Adrian married to someone else", said Adrianna.
       "I don't plan on fighting your dad's decision ,I am just staying till the wedding so I can force myself to finally accept the fact that the man I love is marrying another woman and that will help me move on", I said.
        Lies
    The shock on her face made me dance in my head that she didn't expect me to answer her this way,it gave me the joy of seeing her lost at her own game.
      "I'm truly suprised and at the same time impressed by your composure, I'm truly sorry this had to happen to you,to be honest with you Claire I think you are a nice, beautiful and a good lady I'm sure you will find your man one day,I hope we are still friends", said Adrianna smiling.
       "Yes of course", I smiled as she hugged me then she left me.
       "Hey Cinthia",I said smiling as I approached her before she could enter the car and go back to the Anderson's.
     "Yes", said Cinthia turning to look at me.
   "I was hoping I could make things alright between us over a cup of coffee,hope you don't mind", I said playing the pity party as I watched her think for awhile before she smiled back at me agreeing to go with me.
         Cinthia you are playing with fire.
   After ordering some coffee,I finally spoke up.
        "Why are you marrying Adrian",I asked  the very question that's been bothering me for days now.
    "You actually brought me out to ask me that,what about what you said about making things right between us", said Cinthia as she sipped her coffee.
          "You really believed that", I said as I looked at her.
     "Not really but I must say you are a good actress ,for once I actually thought there was something good in you", said Cinthia smiling as she continued to drink her coffee like we were having a lovely conversation.
    She was infuriating me and she knew it
    "What will it take you for you to call off this hilarious wedding", I asked impatiently while she laughed softly.
     "Hilarious wedding,you say, to be honest,this wedding is presently the highlight of the news on every news channel, magazine and  journals aren't selling without having Adrian and I's face on their cover page",said Cinthia chuckling.
   "So what is the point you are trying to make ", I asked angrily.
       "That day at the hospital,you were so confident that Adrian was yours so what happened to you now, like I said before stop wasting your time with me instead you should be fighting for your love if you had truly love Adrian",  said Cinthia .
       "You are right,I don't love Adrian,I definitely don't love anyone and that's why I need you to call off this wedding,I can't have you ruin all my efforts,it took me awhile before I could have Adrian,so stop messing things up for me",I said and that was when I spotted Adrian coming our way .
     "You don't love Adrian ,you actually love his money , how could you do that to him, Adrian loves you so much", said Cinthia angrily.
      "I know that's why I'm lucky he's in love with me,all I need is his money", I said with a frown watching Adrian work towards us.
        "You crazy woman, I'm glad Adrian's not going to be marrying you but me,you are a greedy woman ,I hope you will never be with Adrian you don't deserve him and I'm so glad you two are finally not going to be together", said Cinthia angrily
          I hid my smile as I quickly put on a sad face knowing that Adrian had heard everything Cinthia just said so all I have to do is change roles with the protagonist as I became the new protagonist as I watched Adrian grab Cinthia.
      "What the hell did you just say, Cinthia how could you be so cruel,you knew that I would be upset yet you chose to separate my girlfriend from me,you lied to me ,so all those times I would confess how sad I was about everything that's been going on , you must have been laughing in your head seeing me in that state,how could you do this to us ,I trusted you with my feelings,oh now I am understanding everything that's the reason you didn't say no to this wedding, that's why you kept lying to me",Adrian said angrily as he gripped her by her arms .
      "Adrian please listen to me..."
  "No you listen to me ,you make me feel so disgusted right now and Cinthia you can't keep playing games with me and that's why when we get to my parents right now you will call off this wedding", said Adrian angrily as he glared at her
     From Cinthia's facial expression I could see that she was totally suprised by the sudden turn of tables on her and watching her weak in front of Adrian gave me the pleasure of knowing I was able to inflict some pain on her as I clinged beside Adrian crying while I watched the people in the restaurant snapping the beautiful scene that I had just directed .
        "Hope this was good enough, Cinthia dear Adrian believes me more than you and do you know why because I have him wrapped around my finger and he's mine to control and I will tell him what to do with you,i hope you do the right thing ,call off this hilarious wedding",I whispered slowly as I watched her wipe away her falling tears .
        "You shouldn't celebrate a war you haven't won,Claire ", said Cinthia smiling before she looked at me.
      "Are you coming",asked Adrian smiling at me as he stretched his hand.
     "Yes I am", I said smiling placing my hand in his.
       "I'm sorry for not fighting for us, I'm such a coward", said Adrian as he held my hand while his other hand held the wheel of the car he was driving.
         "You are not,you had no choice especially now that your dad is not feeling fine",I said smiling.
    "No I should have realized that she was just deceiving me obviously she didn't want us to be together if not she would have refused to marry me", said Adrian frowning.
    "Baby there are lots of reasons any sensible girl would want to marry you", I said smiling knowing that everything was going according to plan.
    "Can you lost them out cos I don't know", said Adrian pouting.
    "One you are illegally handsome,two you may not know this but your family is the richest in the world,three you have an amazing personality,four ..."
       To be honest I meant everything I said about Adrian
    "Okay that's enough ,no one is taking me from you cos I only belong to you", said Adrian as he raised our twirled hand to his lips before kissing my hand.
       "You have always made that very clear before but after everything that has been happening especially what Cinthia's is doing to us, I'm no longer certain if you only belong to me", I said frowning.
        "She's going to call off our wedding today I will make sure of it ", said Adrian lacing every word with anger.
        "I hope so, Adrian I can't live without you", I blurted out of nowhere.
    I meant I can't live without your money
            Let's just wait and see how this story goes on , shall we
      Cinthia's POV
    Have you ever felt like stabbing someone time and time again before,have you cos that's how I feel right now , knowing that Claire threw a stupid stunt to cause Adrian to believe I didn't call the wedding for my own selfish intentions, which she was right but I never planned to break their relationship intentionally,I just had no choice.
     The side of Adrian I saw today left me shaken as I watched him leave with Claire and he didn't even bother to hear me out
      No I can't let Claire keep lying to Adrian that she loves him when all she  has ever wanted from him was his money and now she would do anything to have it.
