After the ritual his younger brothers put on a performance. He told me to go with Lucifer and Rachel. Lucifer left us to go and deal with his brothers, leaving me with the pleasant Rachel.
Rachel sat on my bed telling me what usually happens during, before and after the fullmoon ritual. While she spoke I wrote my mind out. The only weakness I have is this goddamn diary. I started writing in it after Balthozar and never stopped. I only write once in a while. I think I have about five or six entries. Its not alot but it is enough to weaken me. When I finished I left it there and turned to talk to Rachel.
"Rachel, how do you come out during the day?"
"That is a myth. Vampyres can come out during the day. We can walk in the sun and nobody can tell wheter we are a vampyre or not unless bloodlust hits us. Then our fangs appeaar. We also do not sparkle in the sun."
"What the advantages?"
"Well, we have inhanced speed and sight. We can sense the different species, certain species can see auras and we can see thoughts. Certain thoughts only."
"What about the disadvantages?"
"That is the thing. There are alot. Our bloodlust is random. Sometimes our speed gets the better of us and we run past our target. It is impossible to have kids. Our inhanced sight also blinds us. We look at what is far away and not what is close by. We can read certain thought but it also breaks the trust barrier. White lies are okay to maintain any relationship but we can see those thoughts. No lie can stay hidden for long."
"Damn."
"Yea. The life of a vampyre is hard. What about being a hybrid. I'm sure it's better."
"Not really. They dislike hybrids. We are impure. Not worthy of anything. Thats what they say. We also have two abilities to control. Our dominant one is easy to maintain but our other one is not. It has a free reign. It is very hard to control. It takes time and patience. If you let the otherside out at full potential for to long it may take over. It took me ten years to control my witch side. I can use bursts of power and control it."
"What about your advantages?"
"I have better balance, I am more agile, I have better sense of sight, smell and touch, I am faster, I have more abilities and I can see and do things that most can't like control dragons and talk to the fey."
"Cool."
"But dangerous."
"Yeah. Okay, I have to go. The lights out time is in three hours. See you."
"Bye, Rachel." I said before going to have a shower.
