"Will you go on a date with me?"
"Oh y/n... I'm sorry. I don't feel that way about you. And MJ and I are dating now. We just started dating last week and I never told you, so you wouldn't have known but..."
"I- I am sorry!!" I mumble. I can feel my face flushing with shame, and I want to run away. "I should've known there was already someone..."

"O-okay." I say, smiling.
"Let's blow this popsicle stand?" I say, quoting our favorite Disney movie to make fun of.
"That's the spirit!! Hey I'm having a party at my apartment next week. Wanna come?"
"S-Sure." I say, turning away to walk home.

I nod, going home to cry. I would get over it eventually, but for now, it was cuddles with my dog and me. "Oh well, at least we're still friends." I mumble to myself.
