A/n: I'm sorry it took so long! guys the first book is at 20k jdjejdnf what- this plot is not as great as you guys put it out to be. I completely forgot how I even thought of it. Thank you so much! I'm apologize for making stupid promises that I don't keep up about updating. It's been over a year since I created this fan fiction and I still don't understand how people enjoy reading it. I'm in high school now and it's hard to update especially with this pandemic where teachers try to say that they hope you are safe and all and then assign you like a 12 page paper. Anyways I hope you guys understand my slow pace of updating!

Sowon's POV
Wait, Yerin and Jungkook are cousins?

So after all of these years Jungkook still has family and it's not just his father but also Yerin?

How are they connected though.

"Nayeon how are Yerin and Jungkook cousins?" I ask.

"Okay well if we go to the next page we'll be able to see the family tree. It starts off with the grandparents from all sides. Mr. Jeon's, Jungkook's father,wife's birth name was Jung so mi and if you look at where she is connected, she is the daughter of Jung so Hyun and jung soji. Jung so Hyun and Jung soji have two other children, Jung sohee and Jung so jun. Jung so jun is connected to Yerin he is her father".

"So jung so jun and jung so mi are brother and sister" i state.

"Precisely" Nayeon agrees, "also there's one more thing I think you guys should know".

"What is it?" Jin asks, curiously.

"Jung so jun, Yerin's father, died a few days ago" Nayeon explains.

This case just keeps getting deeper and deeper.

I have to be aware of every possibility so I have to ask, "did he die naturally?"

"Sadly he died under our care, one of the male nurses did not plug in the machine and that machine was his Yerin's father could breathe" Nayeon looks towards the floor.

I sigh, "this is so much, Jin I'm going to go and call Yuju".

Jin nods and looks at the screen of results again.

I walk out of the room and bring out my phone.

Sowon: yuju

Yuju: oh hey sowon, more news?

Sowon: uh yes, I'm not sure how to say this

Yuju: well take your time me, Jungkook, Taehyung, and Yerin are just waiting to board the plane. I forgot to tell you we're heading back today.

Sowon: oh okay, well we got the DNA results back and..

Yuju: he's still alive isn't he

Sowon: yes, we aren't sure how we're still investigating. There's one more thing I found out

Yuju: what is it?

Sowon: yerin and jungkook are cousins

Yuju: wha- uh how?

Sowon: well Jungkook's mother and Yerin's father are siblings and I'm not sure if Jungkook and Yerin are aware that they are related.

Yuju: oh well should I mention it to one of them?

Sowon: not yet we don't know the full story, let's talk about it when you get back

Yuju: okay, goodbye

Sowon: bye

How could I have not known?

Yerin has been my friend since forever and Jungkook I've known for years.
