Deep within the forest dwelled magical creatures unknown to this country or just forgotten long ago. A meeting was in session held by these beings. Concerning over their beloved leader.

"He plans to go through with it." Mister Troll says to the rest of the group.

"Hva?! (What?!)" Huldra, a seductive troll-like creature exclaimed. "No, he's supposed to be mine!"

"Who would take him seriously with that face?" A dwarf commented while munching on an apple.

Mister Troll shook his head. "According to him, this human means more to him than he originally thought. It's a bad idea indeed, besides everything is temporary in this life, even himself at some point."

To everyone's surprise, mixed with a hint of embarrassment. Lukas, out of nowhere, came out from hiding in the tall trees. Landing firmly on the ground. "You guys do know when you're talking out loud, it's easier to hear your thoughts, right?" He sat down on a small boulder, giving him a good look at his friends of fantasy.

His POV:

Huldra happily floated in front of me, stroking each side of my face with both hands. "Are you sure you still don't want my offer? You and I will last for as long as we live~."

"You already know my answer by now, especially at the moment. And I'm sincerely sorry."

She sighed and let me go. "Det er greit, varme greier. (It's okay, hot stuff.) You know where to find me if things don't work out~." Huldra went back to her seat.

"Har du en plan? (Have a plan?)" Mister Troll spoke up.

My eyes shifted at him. "Yes, and only fate will tell if it's meant to be," I said, getting up. "I know what I'm doing, and we'll be fine." I turned around before looking over my shoulder. "And a small warning, be careful not to speak ill of her or me while I'm not here. It's better to say it in the persons' face." With that, I vanished without a trace, heading towards (Y/n)'s whereabouts as quickly as possible.

The others glared over at the dwarf, who crouched behind a bush.

Your POV:

It'd been a little over two weeks since you and Lukas met up. And you missed him like crazy. You admitted it was difficult to contain yourself while in his presence. You wanted to squeeze him tightly in your arms and tell him how much you love the man of few words. What started as admiration soon formed into a romantic feeling. At the same time, keeping your respect for him. He's slowly coming out of his shell, and you are happy to be there for it.

For him.

Should I call him? No! Yes... I don't know anymore! Give a sign. I can't take it anymore!

You paced around your bedroom until you stopped when a knock was at your front door. You head towards it, and upon opening, you see Lukas standing there.

"Hei, hvordan har du det? (Hello, how are you?)" He quietly but sweetly asked.

Your heart skipped a beat. "Lukas! Hi, I'm doing good, how about you?"

"Good too, thank you. I know this is sudden, but are you busy at the moment? I want to speak to you about something. I won't take much of your time."

"Don't worry about that! And yes, of course! Come inside and -."

He politely stopped you. "Oh, not here. If that's alright."

"Oh... okay! I'll get ready then!"

He led you to an unknown location. Unknown, why? Because he kindly requested of you to keep your eyes closed until you two arrived. You ran along with it and waited anxiously. Not even five minutes had passed when you were suddenly hit by a strong wave of cold, fresh air.

"Open your eyes," Lukas said behind you.

You did as told and couldn't believe where you two stood. At Trolltunga.

Standing a few feet near the rock's ledge, your smile from ear to ear said it all.

"It's gorgeous!" You turn to face him. "I appreciate you showing me this, but why go through all this trouble?"

The darkening sky hid the fact his face was redder than a tomato. He gulped down the lump in his throat.

"I'm sorry for leaving you in the shadows for some time now. I had internal struggles within myself, but I've come to terms with my feelings. My feelings for you." Lukas walked past you and was nearly an inch away from falling off.

"H-hey, be careful..." You stated, ignoring what he said. He glanced back at you, holding out his hand.

"Will you come with me? You'll be safe, I promise."

Something about this seemed odd, but you trusted your gut and placed your hand in his. Putting a foot in the air, he stepped on what appeared to be an invisible surface. You two floated above the ground. You panicked. Lukas eased your nerves by holding you in his arms.

"It's okay. You're okay." He cooed. The moon shined directly under you two, giving a special spotlight to what Lukas was about to reveal.

"(Y/n), I... I love you."

Your eyes widened. "What? Are you serious?" You questioned, wondering if this was all a dream. He nodded firmly.

This is it! Now's your chance!

You smiled. "I do too. I feel the same way..." You confessed.

"R-really?" Lukas's dull eyes gained their full color. "Then, can we become what people call a couple?"

You laughed. "Of course." You planted a tender kiss on his cold cheek. He did the same and embraced you tightly.

The shell broke completely.
