Sonny's pov ~

"what how?" she asks me smiling

"we got really close I fell on top of her and I got close to her and then she kissed me" I tell her quietly

"did you like it?" she asks me grinning

"yes, yes I did so much" I say with a annoyed sigh

"I wish it could have lasted longer but it was just a quick kiss" I tell her

"oh, so you do like her?" she asks me in a I told you so tone

"yes and she drives me insane" I say

"hey woah calm down" she says and puts an arm on my shoulder

"ask her why she did it" Lana tells me

"get some answers you admitted how you feel about you crush now you need to know how they feel" she says and walks away

I leave the lunch hall and make my way to the swimming pool when I get there I sit with just my legs in the pool and decide to text Alissa to meet me, she said yes I decide to wait

Then I hear the door open and my eyes go straight to her

"hey sunshine" she says so me with a smile

Not a fucking nickname Al

"hey" I say to her

She sits down next to me

"the water looks nice" she says looking at it

"feel free to go for a swim" I say with a laugh

"I'm good" she says and rests herself on the stair railing of the pool

"what's up?" she asks me softly

"I don't know how else to say this but why did you do it?" I ask confused and feeling as if I shouldn't have asked

"oh you mean that stupid kiss?" she asks me with a small laugh

"yeah" I say acting like I'm agreeing with her

"well I've been on top of you you've been on top of me, I guess it was a heat of the moment thing cause I was so happy and so where you and you got close to me so I thought a we friendly thank you for bringing me to the place I love kiss won't hurt" she says with a smile

"or this is bothering you is that why you're asking?" she asks worried

Yes it is bothering me more than it should, I should have stopped you

"no" I say to her

"good cause I wouldn't want to fuck up our friendship" she says sweetly

"why sunshine?" I ask smirking

"because you have sunjob and sunshine and sunrise! Oh my god these nicknames I have for you are great, they're just more sweet than sunjob" she says laughing

"good point" I say and stand up

"you're leaving?" she pouts acting sad

"well I'm not wanting to go fall into the pool again" I say with a smirk and walk away

I open the doors and see Lana right in front of me

"you okay?" I ask her confused

"yes I'm a happy girl and you seem...well I don't know friendzoned" she says awkwardly at the end

"why are you here?" I ask her with with a sigh as I walk down the hall with her

"because you need to get over her as soon as possible before you start drooling and writing songs about her" Lana tells me trying to act sassy

"it's a stupid crush I don't know but I'll get over her" I tell her in a duh tone

"it's not that easy Sonny" she tells me

Alissa's pov ~

"so basically I've to climb on to the platform then hang the lights up?" I ask Kylie

"yeah" she says and sits down on the floor

"can I ask you something?" I say turning around to face her

"what?" she says sounding tired

"do you hate me?" I ask her calmly

"you know I thought I did once I saw how close you and Rye were getting but I know you mean no harm and I don't want to be that girl that hates you cause you went out with the guy I liked" she tells me with a small smile

"I'll still be bitchy but I don't hate at all I like you Alissa and I don't want us to be enemy's" she says awkwardly

"I'd like that" I say and walk up the ladder

"so" I say and start climbing

"you said you liked rye... What changed?" I ask her

"after Sam Kissed me and I made the mistake to kiss him back over how sad I was I realised I wanted to work on myself for a bit" she tells me

"why did you kiss Sam?" I ask as I reach the top

"I found out my gran had cancer and Sam was helping me but he kissed me and I didn't know what to do" she says

"oh" I say feeling bad

"even though I don't like Rye anymore I still wish I could reverse that" she says with a sigh
