From the earth we rise
Weak and new and learning
Intrigued by what she offers
We want to know and harness
We want to be and more
We need that connection
On the earth we stand
Strong and kind and knowing
Caught in everything she has
We have all we need
We have all we want
We cannot lose our feeling
To the earth we fall
Tired and old and content
We used all that she gave
Hold on to what she showed
Share all of that beauty
And return again to her
