trying to open up

Lapis POV

I woke up to sunlight hitting my eyes, the events of yesterday recaped in my head, i turned to the other side of the room to see peridot still asleep on her green bed, school starts tomorrow so i only have today to do something.

I sat down to think of something to do today when peridot suddenly woke up.

"Umm morning peridot" i said trying ti be nice.

"Morning i guess" she said, i could tell she's confused from my sudden change in attitud.

She went to the little kitchen we had and started to make some coffee.

"So wanna go somewhere today seeing as its the last day before classes start" i said hoping she would agree because for some reason i just want to spend time with her.

She seemed surprised by this question  but soin answered.

"No i gotta prepare my stuff for tomorrow" she said calmly.

There was an awkard silence for a bit until her coffee finished and she got some clothes and went and took a shower, then she came out with a green hoodie and som jeans, i felt a blush for some odd reason and it was growing oh god no stop, i turned my face the other way to cover it until it went away.

"anyways im gonna go explore campus and stuff before i get ready for tomorrow, bye" peridot said, i saw this as the perfect oportunity to try to get close to becoming friends or some thing.

"Wait!!" I shouted.

She turned to me with frustration on her face.

"What" she said with an annoyed voice.

"Im comung with you" i said, she looked at me like if i was crazy.

"Your not even changed you still in pj's" peridot said.

I looked at myself and she was indeed right.

"Just give me 10m" i despretly said.

I showered and changed as quickly as i could and shortly i was done.

" ok lets go " i said.

Peridot just sighed and we both left the dorm.
