growing closer pt. 2

Peridot POV

"Thats okay ill teach you" she said with a smile.

"Um okay" i said nervously.

We entered the skating ring and i started getting really nervouse because i dont want to be embarresed or feel like a burden to lapis.

I immedeatly holded on to the side of the skating ring.

"Ill just stay here you can just go with the others and have fun" i said wanting to be a burden.

She just giggled.

"Its fine peridot i want to teach you" she said extending her hand to me.

"Fine" i said giving up.

She slowly slid me to her and holded my hand.

My face was starting to heat up but i tried my best to ignore it.

"Just calm down and dont rush it" she said calmly as i nodded. ( A/N i dont really know since as i said before i dont know how to skate)

We went slowly as i started to adapt to it.

"Im going to let go of you now" lapis said.

A wave of fear swept through me as she let go of my hand.

I started of good until i started to go faster uncontrolably and i fell.

I noticed as everybody stared at me and a horrible fucking feeling went through me, i felt naked, unprotected, my heart was raising and i just wanted to get out of there, i felt like such a disapointment as tears started forming.

"Peridot are you okay" i heard lapis say.

"Um yeah" i said quickly whiping my tears so she wouldnt think i was a loser.

She helped me back up and we went out of the ring and sat at a table.

I cant believe i am so soft and such a coward, that little incident almost let me to crying and speak of the devil i felt my eyes start to tear up, i dont know how i even have friends with mu sorry ass.

"PERIDOT!" I heard lapis scream at me.

"Are you okay youre tearing up" she said with a worried face.

"Yeah im fine" i said lookig down.

"Peridot i know that youre telling lies"  she said.

"Lapis im fine really" i said trying to not start anything.

We sat there as lapis would only make small talk. I feel really bad that she has to be here with me and not go and skate.

"Why dont you just go skating with the others" i said to her.

"Because or else you would be alone" she said with a smile.

"Ill be fine you go ahead" i said.

"You sure" she question.

I nodded.

"Okay signal me if you need me" she said as she went into the skating ring and went with the others.

I just sat there looking at her as she skated with the others.

I rested my head on my hand as i felt myself drifting away.

Time skip

My eyelids started to open as i recognised that i was in lapis's car.

I rubbed my eyes as i sat up.

"Oh youre awayke" lapis said on the front.

"What happened?" I asked as i couldnt really remember.

"Well you fell asleep on a table and you looked really tired so when everybody started going i sayed goodbye and carried you to my car and here we are" she said.

"Oh sorry about that" i said.

"Its fine" she said as we drove back to our dorm.

Its good that i have somebody that cares about me, i usually felt out of place with the others well amethyst is pretty great i guees.

Lapis POV

We entered our dorm and peridot went straight to the bathroom.

I took this time to think about peridot, she looked like something was really bothering her, and that makes me really sad.

She came out and started playing videogames on her laptop.

"Dieee nyehehehehe" she screamed.

That made me giggle, i have also just accepted the fact that i have feeling for her but i dont know if im ever going to tell her.
