○ Sharp heels, deadly dance moves ○
"Are you sure you want to do this now? We can always tell them that you aren't able to walk properly yet and postpone it till next week" she said but he shook his head, looking outside the car to the view for once.
"It's been too long since our victory, I can't possibly hold it out even longer" he said and she sighed, nodding at his statement and continued driving to the palace. It was the day they would celebrate their win against M. Ever since their mission, the Queen had been asking about the head guard and his availability for a celebration at the palace. He, of course, wanted to have that celebration but he was in no condition to do so.
Now that he's gotten better, although still on a wheelchair, he wanted to attend to it and so she agreed. The guards and the Queen have prepared everything. Leondra even helped in preparing the celebration and the Queen was more than happy to accept their first woman guard.
She had exceptional tracking and hacking skills and that made her in charge of all the tech the guards might need. Before they knew it, they were already outside of the palace, knowing that they would have to have special permission or walk inside the palace as there were the boundaries that separates the palace with the rest of the kingdom.
Luckily, Shengen was outside and happened to be waiting for us. He let us in and that was how the guards reunited with the head guard again. "You all did well, now let us celebrate for the success"

"Don't want to make it extra formal or anything but can Adam make a speech for us? He is the head guard and a shot victim after all" the Queen said and the agent was about to help him push the wheelchair to the center of the room when he tried to stand up on his own.
She tried to help him but he held out a hand as in to tell her to stop. And so he did, he stood up and walked his way to the center of the room, the guards clapping their hands at his recovery. "Pretty sure that although I'm making a speech I wouldn't need to introduce myself" he chuckled.
"I suppose you all remember what happened when the mission first came to us. Gunshots everywhere, people trying to save their lives and those dearest to them, and there was a woman and a man who decided to help me and Her Majesty instead" he said, smiling at Yanjun and Jane.
"I thought that I couldn't have trusted the two people but looking at them, I knew that they were somewhat trustworthy so I did let them help us. Broke the door down and Her Majesty let them stay to investigate further. Then we met Leondra in the casino, explosions and fire everywhere. Then we got the guy from the company, forgot his name, sorry" he said, earning chuckles from some of them.
"Then we ambushed M, when Agent J had become the love of my life. She was captured and abused and I took a bullet for her after we found her. Honestly, I have no idea on what to say. If you haven't realized, I was just blabbering about how we came to this" he said.
"I'm gonna be honest, this may be the craziest thing I have done in my life, ever. I mean I was a guard before that but we never really go on missions and ambush places like that. I guess what I'm trying to say is, let's do that some other time again. There's no other people in this world I would team up with to do this whole mission all over again than all of you" he smiled at everyone.
"Job well done to everyone of us. To the guards" he raised his glass of champagne. "To Her Majesty" Mingjun continued. "To Yanjun" the agent said. "To Leondra" Jeffrey said. "To Agent J" Xikan said and they all smiled. "Trouble forever solved together. Cheers!" the Queen said and they erupted into cheers as they drank the expensive champagne.
"Say, Adam, how did you recover that fast?" YueYue asked and he smiled. "I did have a lot of help" he said and she chuckled. "Now, let's dance" Wenjun said and everyone nodded, getting up on their feet. The agent has been wanting to dance for a while, not finding the time and condition to do so. Now, she could dance to her heart's content.
She was soon sweeping through the dance floors, sharp heels clacking on the marble floor. The guards joined her, even the Queen did while the head guard simply looked at her from afar. Her moves were deadly, possible to kill a man such as himself. He thought that it should've been illegal to let her dance like that.
He wanted to join her, he really did but he was in no state to do so. When she briefly glanced at him, she knew what he wanted to do so she gave it to him. She walked over to the man and started to dance together. It was slow, not as energetic as to how it was before but it was perfect.
The dance was sensual, the sway of their hips calm and definite, her hands on her waist as they looked at the others dance a bit more quickly. "You could just join them, you know that" he said and she chuckled but shook her head. "I'd rather be here and accompany you. After all, every King needs his Queen by his side" she said and he smiled at her words. She really is a sweet one.
He was glad that she wasn't the kind of person to judge someone by their wealth or visuals. He was glad that she chose to stay by his side even at his hardest. He couldn't even believe it when she said that she had met their mother.
"You're saying that I'm your King and you're my Queen? Well then, so be it"
