It had been a few weeks since Y/N finished his Final Selection, having breezed through it with relative ease, but avoiding the "Hand Demon" just because "The veins are disgusting."
He made sure to not tell Kanae, Shinobu, or anyone from the Estate about this, he also shushed anyone who saw him, by "shush" I meant, Y/N threatened the poor souls.
He had also just received his Nichirin Sword from Tecchin Tecchikawahara, the same swordsmith that forged Kanae and Shinobu's Nichirin Swords.
Y/N's is just a normal sword, but with it's guard missing, Y/N claims that it gets in the way and had asked for it to be removed, the blade is a dark purple that unnerved the village elders.
Y/N, during his weeks off, helped Kanao and Aoi in their sword training, and what to do in case that it somehow got snatched away from them, or they dropped it.
It's also the first time Kanao and Aoi called him "Y/N nii-san"/"Y/N nii" so he's very much happy during those weeks off.
But right now...
"CRAW! CRAAAW!! Y/N! Y/N! HEAD NORTHWEST! NORTHWEST! MEN HAVE BEEN GOING MISSING AND WOMEN'S CORPSES WERE LEFT TO ROT! HURRY! HURRY!"
Atleast the crow came at the right time.
"Ahhh, I understand already, Saihara chan. Stop it!" Y/N whined as he covered his ears, the crow continued to squawk and squawk, fully ignoring Y/N's complaints.
"CRAW! CRAAAW! HURRY! YOU ARE TO MEET KOCHO, SHINOBU ON THE WAY! CRAAAW! CRAAAAW!"
"Oh! My first mission?! And it's with Shinobu chan?!?! Seriously?!?!"
Y/N ran northwest, hastily grabbing his sword and putting his white, butterfly-patterned Haori with a hood that Kanae Kocho made for him, he didn't even bother to button up his uniform since he was so excited.
"YIIIPPEEEEEE!!!" He jumped whilst pumping his fists.
His running slowed down, until it eventually turned into skipping, nonetheless, he was still just as excited in joining a mission with Shinobu as before, he just didn't wanna tire himself out, he has to show off his skills!
The Supreme Leader of Evil always shows off whenever he can, and this is the perfect opportunity to do so!
He bought a few snacks along the way and even brewed a fight in a bar somewhere, pitting two idiots against each other.
Soon enough, he ran unto Shinobu...
...and by ran, I meant...
