Soulmates~Oikawa X Reader ON PAUSE

In my hands

"OI WATCH OUT-"! 

I saw a ball racing towards my field of vision at the speed of light, I closed my eyes just waiting for the impact when a loud thud booms in front of me... 

The ball didn't even hit me...Oh No

I open my eyes quickly and they widen

Oikawa stood in front of me, his head hanging low and his arms protecting me

"O-Oikawa? Are you alrigh-" My question gets cut by Oikawa suddenly tumbling over, falling over and knocking us outside the gym doors where we stood.. right onto the grass

He was unconscious, his head laying on my neck.. he was still breathing hot breaths on my neck but wasn't responding to my worry-filled questions

I was insanely flustered, as his massive muscular body crushed my smaller frame

Suddenly the spiky-haired boy from earlier, who I learned was the ace and vice-captain, Iwaizumi Hajime (also Risu's soulmate) came running up from behind

"Oh my god I'm so sorry are you two okay?" A very worried look across his face 

"Yeah, I'm fine, just a little crushed by Oikawa. He's breathing but he's slipped out of consciousness" I barely manage to say, still flustered and crushed by his weight

He takes no time in pulling Oikawa off me and slinging his body onto his shoulders. A boy with his hair parted in the middle runs up and helps me up. I believe his name was Kunimi-Kun.

"Are you alright Furutani-senpai?" He says worried, "Your knees and elbows are bleeding!"

I looked at them, I guess they are. The adrenaline running in me must be insane right now, I don't even feel the pain.. it reminds me so much of that- no. I can't talk about those days..never again.

He helps me walk over to the infirmary with Iwaizumi in the lead whilst reassuring me it'll be okay and that uncle knows what happened and the team is packing up to leave.

We arrive at the nurse's office and Iwaizumi and I explain what happened

She assures us it'll be alright and wraps up my knees and elbows and asks I lay down while she checks for any concussion risks

She tells me it's safest to rest for a little while so I slip into the bed and blanket and crash pretty quickly, the pain making me forget about Oikawa

 (Timeskip an hour later)

I wake up and look to my left and see Oikawa asleep peacefully, his head wrapped in bandages

He looks so peaceful..His small eyes closed and fluttering..his soft pink lips muttering something quietly...

He suddenly opens his eyes and meets mine

Oh.Shit

He smiles softly.."Blueberry-Channnnn~ were you watching me sleep?" He exclaims cutely, giving an adorable smile

"N-No! I just woke up and looked over and you w-woke up!" I say, my face burning up

Why is it the minute I talk to you I'm a stuttering mess??

Suddenly Risu bursts through the doors, panting 

"OH MY GOD IHAAAAAA! ARE YOU ALRIGHT??" she suddenly stops talking and glares holes right into Oikawa, making him jump in fear a little

She pulls up a chair next to me and raises an eyebrow at us 

"What did you do to my Iha Shittykawa?" She says. I laugh at the nickname.

"How rude Risu-Chan I was protecting her beautiful face from the wrath of a volleyball," He says, waving his hands around like a kid

She looks at me, questioning him. I nod lightly, confirming his story

"I'm glad you're both okay. Iha, your uncle had to head to an emergency meeting with the japan volleyball league and your aunt is there with him so you'll be in my care at my house tonight" She smiles softly, helping me up from my bed and putting my shoes on for me

"Shittykawa, you're coming too, Iwa's staying the night so I'm letting you come too since I live nearby" She sighs, not even looking at him while grabbing my bag

Iwaizumi enters the room. "Oh you're here Risu, and the two lovers are awake too" He smirks

Oikawa and I snap our heads to them both, shooting an angry look, but they're busy snickering their asses off

Iwaizumi helps Oikawa up and supports him while we get to his car

I fall asleep in Risu's arms and doze off completely

I wake up a little while later to see I'm changed into much more comfortable pajamas

I look up and see Iwaizumi and Risu watching a movie, their fingers intertwined and heads leaning against one another 

"Oh welcome back to the living world Iha" She laughs and I glare at her

"Was I out that long?" I say, rubbing my eyes 

"Not really, Just about 30 minutes, you might want to head upstairs and clean up though," She says giving directions to her bathroom, you look around and see no Oikawa in sight.. weird.

I head upstairs and walk towards the bathroom when suddenly, I ran into the back of a tall masculine figure, he turns around, completely shirtless

"Oi what the-Uh oh"
