Today is a new day. Yay. I'm 16. Living alone. Both of my parents were taken away from me at a young age and I have been by myself for 2 years now.
I hopped from foster home to foster home, I didn't feel like I fit in anywhere. But I made a deal with the Sargent in the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) that if I lived on my own I'd have to go to school. And you can probably tell that has already been a shit show. The best thing is no one knows I'm related to the person we're learning about in history... the great Stoick the Vast and his son Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. The people who changed the world.

My family has passed their books, their notes, their drawings and their maps down. However today isn't a normal day. My school is off for mid term and I am going to find where my ancestors was before they had to change.

I wanted to stay true to my heritage so, I took sailing lessons. I have been doing combat training since I was 6 years old and my instructor says I'm a natural. Everything is prepared. The old longship is ready to go. All I had to do was to avoid Sargent Walsh.

I pushed my boat into the water, clumbed on it and headed west towards what Stoick described as a waterfall at the edge of the world where all dragons lived. I was going to the Hidden World.

It had been about 2 hours but I finally found a great, tall island in the middle of no where. I landed my boat on the rusty docks and made my way up the millions of stairs. When I came to the top, there was an ancient civilisation hidden away from the world. On top of the buildings there were what looks to be carvings of dragon heads. There's a huge statue of what appears to be Stoick looking over the town and under where his feet is, there's a carving of a... person reaching his hand out towards a... dragon. That must be Hiccup.

This is where my people were before they lost their way. I extend my arms looking at the sea, feeling like I'm King of the World. The feeling was soon interrupted by a twig snapping. I darted my head towards the sound.

I was not alone of this island anymore.
