A New Land... Sort Of

Jake
"Izel... pst... Izel!" I whispered hoping she'd hear me.
"Go back to sleep, Jake," she grumpily relied.
"What if I told you CJ found a new land last night?"
Her eye opened.

We flew off of the King's throne in the Hidden World. We met CJ and Valkyrie near the flightmare's territory. The four of us flew up out of our home and onto a new adventure.

My dad, the alpha, wants all dragons to stay inside the Hidden World because he says that one of our ancestors fought in a war to free dragons. That's how we wound up in the Hidden World. But a lifetime of flying around the same glowing pillars, the same King's rock and the same territories becomes boring and a dragon longs for something more.
That's where this plan comes in. CJ gets to petrol around the entrance and he may go a little further. Whenever he finds a new land we go check it out.

We flee for ten or so minutes until we came across an ancient civilisation built on a huge island only accessible to dragons if you don't count the massive amount of stairs. On top of the buildings there looks to be carvings of Nadder heads, Zippleback heads, Nightmare heads and more. There's a huge statue of a man looking over the town and under where his feet is, there's a carving of a... nightfury and a... human trying to touch him. This whole place seems to be based in a culture with dragons and people living in peace.

"Why is it so... empty?" Valkyrie asked.
"Something must have happened for a whole island to move," CJ said.
"This was so worth getting up for," Izel chimed.
"How have we not been told about this?" I asked
"Maybe the two events are linked," CJ suggested.
"Well whatever happened here, I do look great," Valkyrie relied looking at her reflection.
Izel turned to look out into the horizon. She spots a small object coming closer to our island.
"Something's coming," she said panicking.
"What to we do?" CJ asked.
"We have to hide!" I exclaimed.
"Where?" Valkyrie asked.
"Anywhere. Go! Come out when they leave!" I say before I ran off. Izel was close behind me. We ducked under a wooden structure and waited for the enemy to go.

Maybe this wasn't a good idea after all...
