"Leave her....alone!" I exclaimed, hobbling over to Nina
My body was aching and I felt like I was on fire! But I had to protect Nina
"Oh no you don't!" My dad said, kicking me to the ground, my head hit the doorframe and everything started to spin and I blacked out....
Now
Fabian's POV
I woke up in a white room. I think I was in a hospital but I couldn't be sure....
My eyes adjusted to the bright lights and I sat up and a shooting pain went through my ribs
I took the white sheet off my body and lifted up the white robe
I had a big bandage covering were my dad stabbed me. I put my hand over it and it hurt a little less than it did at that time
My eyes went big and I gasped
"Nina...." I breathed
The heart monitor started beeping like mad and the door opened revealing 1 doctor and nurse
"Mr. Rutter, you have to call down. Your ok" The doctor said
I started breathing fast and the nurse injected me with a needle
I started feeling faint and I blacked out....for the second time
*A Couple Of Hours Later*
I woke up, opening my eyes. After I adjusted to the light (again) I sat up slowly, trying not to damage my stomach even more....
I rubbed my eyes and blinked a few times, I was still in the same room but there was someone else in there with me.
Not a doctor.
Not a nurse.
Not my dad.
Nina.
Nina's POV
After the whole thing with Fabian's dad, he hit his head and blacked out. But while I was tied to the chair I saw there was a kitchen knife on the table and Mr. Rutter didn't tie the ropes very tight, so when he was dragging Fabian's body onto the couch I grabbed it and untied myself then ran out the back door and dialled for help
The police and ambulance came about 5 minutes later I took Fabian's dad away and the ambulance took him to the hospital. Once we got there I was taken into a hospital room were the checked my eyes, hearing etc. They let me out and I went straight to Fabian's room. The doctors said I couldn't go in yet do I waited for nearly 3 hours until they let me in.
"Nina" I heard, I was sitting in a chair next to Fabians bedside and I must of fallen asleep.
"Hey" I smiled weakly, sitting up and taking Fabian's hand in mine
"What-what happened after I blacked out?" Fabian asked.
He was injured pretty badly. He had 21 stitches in his stomach and a bad cut on his scalp. His ribs and upper body Haag bruises all over and his arms were a bit bloody and scratched up
I had a bandage were he had dragged the knife down my arm and I had a couple of small bruises on my right side
"I managed to escape and call the poultice and hospital, they came to get us and your dad and here you are now" I answered, rubbing my thumb over his knuckles
"Where's my dad n-now?" He frowned
"He's in jail. Turns out he wasn't just drinking....He had cocaine in the bathroom and his bedroom." I said
