Saturday morning I woke up happy and excited. I couldn't wait to get to the beach and have fun in the sun, to play in the water, and enjoy my day to the fullest.
I was happy and felt like nothing in the world could ruin my fun day.
Well I was wrong.
My day started out fine though, everything was perfect. I had chosen this very cute two piece silver Bathing suit, and a cute bathing skirt to go with it.
I knew I would look good.
“Hey guys.” I said the second I excited my house, Anthony, Jimmy, Karina, and Melody were already outside of my house by the time I had exited.
I was already dressed in my bathing suit, I had just put on a cute sun dress on top of it.
“Hey guys” I said while smiling as I walked towards them.
I heard of a chorus of greetings from them as I walked, and that made me happy.
“Rebecca isn’t here yet?” I said while looking around the group.
“No shit Sherlock.” I heard Anthony say with a snort.
I just kept the smile on my face though, because the second he said that melody smacked him on the side of his head while grumbling something.
I think she said “She invited you smart ass, stay quiet.”
I couldn’t help but chuckle as I joined the group.
“Nice house Celia.” I heard jimmy say as he eyed my home.
I nodded. “I guess it is.” I said while smiling at him.
He just nodded before continuing his conversation with Anthony, I just turned away from then and started talking to Karina and Melody.
“Hey guys.” I said with a huge smile on my face.
“H-hi” I heard Karina say as she smiled at me.
I chuckled as she looked up at me.
“So Karina, how’s school?” I asked absentmindedly.
She shrugged. “The usual, I have all A’s, that’s not a surprise.” She said nonchalantly.
“What’s your GPA?” I heard Karina ask.
Melody smiled as she turned to smile at Karina. “4.5” she said with a smug look.
“Cool, I have a 4.6” Karina said with a small smile.
Then they went into their own conversation, leaving me alone and standing there alone and bored.
It took a total of three minutes and twenty seven seconds, I counted, for Rebecca to step out of a car and join out group. She had a somewhat sad look on her face as she walked up to us.
“Guys… I have bad news.” She said melancholically as she looked at the ground she was stepping on.
“What?” I asked her nervously while looking at her.
“My brother might join us later.” She said while glaring at the ground, she didn’t seem very happy about that, I personally didn’t mind, as long as he didn’t try to touch me.
“That’s fine Rebecca, why does that make you sad?” I asked her while putting both my hands on her shoulders.
She looked up at me then, her eyes looked to be in awe. But it was a different kind of awe, it felt different.
“I-I don't like it when he’s near you. I don't like the way he treats you, I thought you might be disappointed in me.” She said with a small frown.
