Chapter 15- Waiting For Bad News

Damon and I walked into the boarding house to wait for news about Elena seeing as she's with Stefan somewhere. I grabbed two glasses and a bottle of bourbon and sat on the couch next to Damon. 

"You want a drink?" I asked softly. 

He nodded. "Sure. Why not?" 

I shrugged and poured myself and Damon some bourbon. After I handed him his drink I realized something. 

"I just realized that everyone still thinks we're a couple." I said with a laugh.

Damon looked at me and smirked while saying "Of course they still think that. We're awesome actors." 

I grinned. "You're damn right we are." 

Damon smiled at me then frowned and said "I really want to get over Elena, because I know she cares for me but I don't think that she would ever choose me over Stefan."

I sighed and said "Sadly I think you're right and you know that I never lie to you."

He nodded and asked "Then how do I get over her? God, me, Damon Salvatore is trying to get over a female. Why is fate so cruel?" 

I smiled sadly and told him "Fate isn't cruel. It just gives us some really bad times to help us grow. And I think I know how I can help you."

He raised an eyebrow and said "You have an idea?" 

I nodded and announced "I think that to get over Elena you have to get over Katherine first. And before you protest Elena is your new Katherine, just not as mean. So maybe you should try doing what you're so good at, feeding from living humans and sleeping with them or other female vampires. Maybe that will make you feel like you have more power because I know right now you feel powerless, let's just face it Damon she's trying to turn you into Stefan, well old bunny eating Stefan."

Damon thought about for a minute then nodded and said "Okay I'll try that but I also have an idea that could benefit us both Ev."

I raised an eyebrow for him to go on. He smirked and said "I think that we should have a no strings attached sex relationship, it benefits us both. We both get pleasure and we can still feed on other people and not have a big fuss about. Also I'm who wouldn't want to sleep with me? I've seen it in your eyes Ev, the lust and want whenever I have not clothes on." 

I slightly scowled then said "You are so conceited. No one has a bigger ego then you but I still don't see how you're going to get over Elena by continually sleeping with me. I mean I know I'm hot and you've wanted to bang me for a while now but I mean what does this solve?" And now you all see why Damon and I are such good friends. We're both conceited, we both like to feed from the vein and well we want to bump uglies. For all of you who do not know the term bumping uglies its just having sex.

Damon stared at me and said "I honestly think it'll work because I mean your hot and I think sleeping with you would help. Plus I know that feelings won't get in the way since we are best friends."

Well maybe if I sleep with him I could get over my feelings for him. I smirked and said "Okay let's do it then."

He smirked back and said "Good." Then he grabbed me and pushed me roughly up against the pillar by the stairs then started kissing my neck.

I threw my head back and growled "I see you like it rough."  I grabbed him and ran us up stairs to his room. This was going to be fun.

4 hours later

Damon and I were laying on our backs panting, for vampires this is kind of a big deal because well we don't get winded but sleeping with Damon was like running around the world a bunch of times.It was an amazing feeling.
