A week had gone by, and Jin was taking care of Junsu to the best of his ability.
However, that road trip was constantly on the back of his mind all the damn time."I wanted to go on that trip Junsu with my best mates. But I can't go because of you." Jin looked at the boy, who was now laying his back on the couch, staring up at the ceiling. Junsu seemed to be intrigued by the blank ceiling with various designs sculpted on the corners of the ceiling.
"Can you let me go?" Jin spoke, obviously knowing that Junsu wouldn't be able to respond. Gurgling sounds erupted from the little boy, causing Jin to purse his lips tightly.
"Why you cute though?" Jin sighed, leaning back comfortably on the comfy couch. Jin slowly used his pointer finger to poke the chubby cheek saying "boop" with a high pitched voice. Junsu didn't seem phased, as he continued to look at the ceiling.
How long would Junsu realize that his parents weren't around. He was too young to fully realize the safety of his parents. He obviously couldn't judge and understand face recognition fully.
Thankfully, over the span of this week, Chaeyoung had come over twice to help him with a few basics. He had to make sure Junsu survived until the end, and he would definitely be dead if well...let's just not talk about it.
Junsu had a whole life ahead of him. That's for sure.
And Jin had to remind him, even though it was hard, taking Junsu wasn't THAT terrible.
Or was Jin just trying to convince himself so he would stay sane?
The basics in which Chaeyoung taught, included how to change a diaper, give the baby a wash, change his clothes, and prepare mushed up solid food. Jin picked up fast, but he was also in awe.
He had finally asked Chaeyoung the second day she had visited to see how Jin was doing, "how do you know so much?" Jin nearly threw up his entire amazing seafood lunch, as he observed Chaeyoung seamlessly change the boy's diaper after he had peed and pooped in one go.
The smell was horrendous and Jin felt like he would pass out.
2 days prior...
"I have a niece that I helped take care of when my sister was very busy. I've baby sat multiple kids since I was in high school. I was known as being the 'second mom', and people assumed that I had a kid of my own, because of how well I took care of kids."
"Well damn, I would've thought the same. IN fact, I would've assumed that you were already a mother of three." Chaeyoung burst into laughter, as Jin admitted his thoughts.
He had never come across a girl who knew how to take care of a child around his age group.
But to tell you the truth, Jin wasn't around those types of girls anyway. All women were in a stage of their life where they were living life to the fullest - partying, sex, drinking, romance...all that fun stuff.
Chaeyoung was different from most girls. It was just a thought and comparison Jin had briefly thought to himself.
"I don't know if I should take that as a compliment." Chaeyoung chuckled, a hint of a blush visible on her cheeks.
It was cute.
"I can't thank you enough." Jin spoke and smiled in return, walking by Chaeyoung's side as she was now nearing the front door entrance. She had helped Jin put Junsu to sleep for his evening nap. She mentally hoped Jin could take care of him from there.
