2 days later...Jin's eyes were desperate and silently pleading for his cousin to not leave.
His heart was erratic and in fear.
He couldn't believe this was actually happening. He literally thought Kim Yoo Jung, was joking about this whole baby-sitting thing.
"Wait wait wait..." Jin was in complete denial as he saw Yoo Jung and his fiancé Lee Eunha ready to leave out the door with their packed luggage.
"What now??" Yoo jung groaned, looking at the younger with irritation.
"So you were serious??? I thought this was another weird joke of yours, that wasn't funny by the way. Are you SERIOUSLY leaving me with YOUR SON??" Jin's jaw dropped to the ground, in shock of this whole situation.
Honest to god, this cannot be happening. I'm just in a terrible dream.
"That wasn't a joke Jin. I know you'll be fine. I heard that you're a great 'caregiver'. I see that in you man." Yoo jung stepped towards his younger cousin, patting his shoulder in appraisal. Well, this wasn't the praise Jin wanted.
What praise did he even deserve when he knew NOTHING about babies. How they functioned, how they reacted, what they were allowed to eat...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
"I never said I was an amazing caregiver for BABIES? I care well for my friends! NOT LITTLE CREATURES." Yes, Jin just referred to Yoo Jung and Eunha's son, Kim Junsu as a creature.
"Relax man." Yoo jung encouraged, stepping away towards the front door. "Eunha provided a list of things for you to do. You will seriously be fine. I trust you."
"Trust. Ha...funny." Jin's emotionless voice, resembled his blank expression. He was in too much shock to react properly.
Eunha smiled, "you're probably a better babysitter than you think. You can call me whenever you want."
WELL IF SHE'S FREE ENOUGH TO BE ABLE TO ANSWER CALLS WHENEVER, THEN SHE MUST BE FREE TO TAKE JUNSU WITH HIM TOO RIGHT!? Jin was beginning to have a headache and this was just all too much.
He was stressed, something he didn't feel often.
Yoo jung continued to speak with a smile on his face, "the two weeks will go by before you know it."
"TWO WEEKS? YOU SAID THE TRIP WAS 5 DAYS!?" Jin almost hollered out loud in surprise. SINCE WHEN was another 9 days to the trip added without Jin's knowledge?
"Right, about that." Eunha laughed as if it wasn't a big deal, "My conference is lasting longer since they have additional events planned. I couldn't say no since I'm the manager. I thought Yoo Jung told you," she glanced at Yoo jung who had an 'ah-ha" moment. "Sorry Jin, i totally forgot to tell you. Don't panic."
Well too late for that. Jin was speechless.
"Okay babe," Yoo jung turned towards Eunha, kissing her cheek. Jin wanted to throw up, "We're going to miss our flight the longer we wait." Facing jin once again, he nodded his head, "good luck with everything. Make sure to take care of the 8 month old--"
"WHAT THE FUCK!?" Jin shrieked, "HE'S 8 MONTHS??? YOU SAID HE WAS A YEAR OLD! HIS BIRTHDAY WAS A MONTH AGO RIGHT?" Jin regretted yelling, forgetting briefly that a baby was now in his home.
"Oh you must have misunderstood, I was talking about a birthday party we went to for a 1 year old baby. IT's one of my coworker's son's." How was Yoo Jung so calm about not being clear of such critical information.
Holy hell. Jin's learning new bits of information at the wrong time.
How wonderful to know that he's going to be more fragile. JUST fucking GREAT.
"Don't worry." Eunha encouraged, "Junsu rarely cries. Only if he doesn't get his food on time and doesn't get enough sleep, which is completely normal. OH and when he doesn't get his diaper changed. He adapts to meeting new people so well. He LOVES seeing new people."
"Right." Diapers?? Jin didn't want to change diapers!! Which brought jin to realize, both his cousin and eunha never bothered to ask if he was able to change diapers, give the baby a wash, things like that.
"Bye Jin! Let's go babe." Yoo Jung turned away, quickly opening the door. Jin opened his mouth to attempt to refuse to agree to this whole thing, but it was too late. Right when he was about to say something, the door was slammed shut.
And he was doomed.
"I had a road trip to go to...tomorrow."

Chaeyoung glanced at her mirror for the nth time. She had a world of emotions, as she viewed her new tattoo.
Did she make the right choice?
Getting her tattoo on her hip was the most awkward thing. Jungkook saw her underwear.
That was never something she ever imagined would happen her entire life.
Jimin and Jungkook were friends.
So it felt strange for another man that she knew, saw parts of her body she just wouldn't share to anyone.
Jimin was the only one.
She called the events from two days ago.
"We're running out of time. So what's your pick? Which part of your body."
"I'll go with the hip."
"I was hoping that." Jungkook smiled, turning away to see his needle was prepped with the ink installed.
He was hoping that? WHY?
"Well you know what this means right?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you're going to have to lower your underwear so I have access to the hip area." His wording sounded so strange.
"Right. Yeah. Of course." Chae was at a loss of words as she uncomfortably, and accidentally flashed her underwear as she was in the process of lowering her pants just enough for her hip to be visible.
"Nice underwear. Bright, lacy, and yellow."
"JUNGKOOK!"
"Sorry sorry." Jungkook burst into laughter, the rumble of chuckles echoing in the room.

Present day, 8 hours later.
"I pray someone. Please respond to my request." Jin looked up to the sky, praying to someone...something. He wasn't a religious man, but it was until that moment, he felt he needed to rely on something rather than someone who lives on this earth. He needed some special power. He needed desperate help.
With fear, he glanced at Junsu with a frown, he was making inaudible noises from time to time. The little figure was laying down on the mat placed on the ground, his little arms moving around, hands opening and closing. Junsu had a smile on his face, and Jin had no idea how he seemed so happy.
As rude as it sounded, Jin didn't spend too much time with him since his cousin and his fiance's departure. He wouldn't say that he abandoned him. But yeah...Jin just didn't know what to do. How to keep a baby entertained.
But since Junsu seemed to be occupied somehow, as the toys were placed beside him, Jin was happy in that sense. Jin sort of felt bad, but again, Jin wasn't experienced in all this.
He didn't have to put so much work into giving the little boy attention.
That was a miracle in of it self.
But then he realized, "Oh shit. He hasn't eaten since lunch."
