Kalli Mitchell never had to worry about anyone but herself. As selfish as it was, it was the truth. She's never had someone to think about and she's never had to think for someone else, either. When Clint, Chris and Natasha walked into her life, Kalli suddenly had a family, she had people who depended on her.

As night drew closer, Kalli remained in her normal, calm composure. Everyone knew not to talk to her while she was like this. Calm Kalli is dangerous Kalli - not exactly good for your physical health.

Natasha hadn't returned from the labs and having to listen to the awkward conversation between Coulson and Rogers was being to drive Kalli round the twist. Kalli stood beside Maria has the latter informed her of the snail-paced progress to finding Chris Anderson and Clint Barton. In Maria's opinion, slow progress was good progress, however, Kalli didn't have the same stance.

Simply, Kalli wanted them home under her supervision.

"They'll be fine," Maria tired to convince the Shadowhunter. "Kalli, they're trained Agents of SHIELD, they can hold their own."

"Are they able to do that under the control of a Norse God?" Kalli asked, her voice sending a chill down Maria's spine. "Answer me that, Hill."

Kalli grabbed a tablet and began her own search. All this waiting around and twisting a lock of hair around her fingers wasn't helping her, she needed action and she needed to find those closest to her. She scanned all cities via satellite, so far coming up with nothing, however, that didn't stop her. Her eyes lit up when she found a lead on Loki's whereabouts. "I've got a hit," Kalli announced to the members of the bridge, also catching the attention of Fury, who didn't know Kalli had gotten in on the search. "Sixty-seven percent match. Wait, cross match, seventy-nine percent."

Coulson sprung into action at Kalli's words. "Location?" He asked as he approached Kalli.

Kalli typed in a few more things on the tablet. Her bows knitted together as she did, her concentration evident. "Stuttgart, Germany. Twenty-eigth Konigstrasse," Kalli said, lifting her head up to meet Fury's gaze. "He's not exactly hiding."

Fury nodded, pleased that one of his finest agents had found a lead. The Director turned to Steve Rogers. "Captain, you're up."

Kalli past the tablet to Coulson, darting off to gear up and inform Romanoff of the plan.

Decked out in her gear and weapons, Kalli sat on board the quinjet with Natasha, Steve and another agent Kalli couldn't be bother to learn the name of. She had bigger matters at hand to deal with.

The flight to Germany didn't take long, thanks to Natasha, however, what Kalli found wasn't something she was surprised to see. Loki had the crowds kneeling at his will with multiple Loki illusions surrounding them. "Captain," Kalli said, changing her bracelet into her signature whip, "we best get going."

Steve nodded and immediately jumped out the back of the jet. Kalli opened up her emerald green portal on the floor of the jet, jumping through and blending in with the shadows.

Steve jumped in front of and elderly man that Loki was going to attack. Reflecting the beam of light, Steve stood up, wondering where Kalli had disappeared off to. He could've sworn she was right behind him. "You know," Steve said taking a few steps forward, "the last time I was in Germany and saw a man standing above everybody else, we ending up disagreeing."

Loki stood, regaining his composure as he stared down the the man in from of him. "The soldier," he growled, connecting the dots, "a man out of time."

Steve smiled. "I'm not the one who's out of time."

Natasha flew the jet just above Steve, but a few metres back. From Kalli's position, she could see and hear everything, however, nobody could hear or see her. "Loki," Natasha spoke with a demanding tone through the sound system, "drop the weapon and stand down."

Suddenly, Loki shoots a beam of light towards the quinjet. Luckily, Natasha manoeuvres the jet out of Loki's line of shot. Kalli jumped out of her hiding spot, springing into action. With a simple flick of her wrist, her whip cracked, and wrapped itself like a snake around Loki's wrist. "Forgetting someone?" The Shadowhunter taunted.

At the sudden coolness around his wrist, the Norse God turned to face Kalli. The mocking smile she wore made him smirk, the Gods and the Angels are never a good mix. "What do I have to do to get rid of you, descendant of the Angels?"

"One hell of a lot more than what you're currently doing, God of Mischief."

Steve crept up on Loki during on confrontation, sending a nod to Kalli when he was ready. Kalli recoiled her whip as Steve attacked from behind. Loki made quick work of the Captain, turning his attention to the Shadowhunter. Kalli stood her ground and snapped her whip down to the ground, instantly stiffening the metal and turning it into a staff. Kalli twirled it around between both hands, waiting for Loki to make his move.

Natasha watched on with nerves from the jet. She knew for a cast iron fact that Kalli was more than capable of defending herself, however, that didn't stop her worry.

Loki made the first move and Kalli blocked his attack, however, she was being forced back with every hit. Kalli quickly turned things around and kicked the scepter out of the God's grasp, sending it a few metres away from the two. Kalli dropped her staff and decided to use her own strength against Loki's.

Kalli moved first, landing a punch to the jaw which was followed up by a flury a kicks and punches. Loki attacked back, failing as Kalli caught his wrist and flipped him over her shoulder. Loki managed to use his longer legs to knock Kalli on her back, which worked. Pain erupted through Kalli's body as her back made contact with the concrete flooring.

As Kalli made it to her knees, Loki placed tip of his scepter against Kalli's forehead. "Kneel," he demanded.

Kalli scoffed. Her name was Kalli Mitchell, she bowed to no one. "Not today," she growled back, kicking his legs out from under him.

Loki grabbed her wrist and filled her over his back. Luckily, Kalli landed on her feet, but she was still in Loki's grip.

Up in the quinjet, Natasha tried to get a clear shot of Loki, but between him and Kalli battling it out between them, she was unable to achieve that goal. "This guy is all over the place," Natasha mumbled.

"You're telling me," Kalli grunted through the ear piece.

Suddenly, AC/DC's "Shoot to Thrill" overdrives the system. Kalli rolled her eyes, she was not in the mood for Stark and his antics. "Agent Romanoff, Agent Mitchell, did you miss me?" Tony questioned.

With Loki distracted, Kalli flipped him over her shoulder, breaking the hold on her wrist. Steve threw his shield towards Loki, catching it as it came flying back at him. Loki stumbled and fell just as Tony touched down in his Iron Man suit. As he stands, Tony reveals every piece of weaponry in his suit. "Make your move, Reindeer Games," Tony mocked. When Loki held his hands in surrender, his armour disappearing into his regular Asgardian clothing, Tony made his weapons fold back into his suit. "Good move."

"Mr. Stark," Steve greated.

"Captain," Tony responded. The cracking sound of Kalli's whip wrapping around a metal object caught the attention of all three men. "Agent Mitchell!" Tony called out in happiness as Kalli caught Loki's scepter in her free hand.

Out of Romanoff and Mitchell, Kalli was Tony's favourite. Since discovering her age, Tony took it upon himself to watch over her, however, with Kalli's regular occurring missions it made it harder for him to do that. That and the fact that Kalli kept pushing him away.

"Stark," Kallie sighed, "do me a favour and save your enthusiasm for someone who gives a damn."

And as sudden as she appeared, Kalli Mitchell retreated to the quinjet.
