On board the jet, Kalli had secured the scepter in a reinforced case which could only be accessed by a PIN number only Kalli, Natasha and Fury knew. The less people who knew the better.

Tony Stark, being Tony Stark, battered Kalli with multiple questions about what she got up to since she left Tony. Every time the topic was mentioned, Kalli was quick to shut him down, telling him to save his enthusiasm for Pepper. Natasha caught on to the joke, laughing with Kalli, leaving Tony tomato red and Steve utterly confused.

However, the flight back to base wasn't as pleasant as they tired to make it. No matter how hard Kalli pushed, she couldn't get anything sensible out of the God of Mischief. It infuriated the dark-haired woman that she couldn't complete a simple interrogation. Natasha could see that and told her to put a hold on the questions until the got to base, then Fury would take over the interrogation.

A rumble of thunder seemed to come out of nowhere. Natasha didn't seem too phased by it, however, with all her Shadowhunter runes activated, Kalli's senses where going haywire. She didn't have a good feeling. As Natasha spoke with Fury over the headset, Kalli listened to Stark and Rogers discus things between them.

"I don't like it," Steve admitted as the three stared over at Loki, who was tied up and handcuffed to his seat.

Tony raised an eyebrow to Steve, ignoring Kalli's warning gaze. "What? Rock of Ages giving up so easily?" Tony chuckled with sarcasm.

Kalli's warning gaze turned to death stare in a matter of moments.

Steve either ignored Tony's sarcasm or didn't catch on as he glanced at the two in front of him. "I don't remember it being that easy," he stated, making full eye contact with Kalli. "This guy packs a wallop."

"You can say that again," Kalli agreed as she activated her healing rune once again.

"Still, you pretty spry for and older fellow," Tony said, poking at a sore point.

"Tony," Kalli hissed.

"What's your thing?" Tony continued. "Pilates?"

Steve looked at Tony bewildered. "What?"

"It's like calisthenics," Tony explained. "You might've missed a couple of things, you know, doing time as a Capsical."

Kalli rolled her eyes in disbelief. It was like supervising two kinds in kindergarten.

Steve's gaze hardened as he stood fully in front of Tony, meeting his match. "Fury didn't tell me he was calling you in," Steve mentioned, not recalling any mention of Howard Stark's son from Fury.

Tony simply shrugged. "Yeah there's a lot of things Fury doesn't tell you."

Thunder crashed violently and lightening flashed over the sky ahead. Kalli furrowed her brows together. She looked at the forecast for this evening, there wasn't any storms mentioned for days from now. "Where did that come from?" Kalli questioned. The uneasy feeling she had in the pit of her stomach began to bubble away, something wasn't right. Kalli glanced back at Loki, to see if he was trying any funny business with them. She was surprised to see him generally confused as they were. "What's wrong?" Kalli questioned, a slight smirk playing on her lips as Loki briefly glanced at the Shadowhunter. "Scared of a little lightening?"

Loki didn't even bother to return the smirk as he kept trying to get a look out one of the windows, as if someone was chasing him. "I'm not overly fond of what follows."

Kalli didn't even have time to register what Loki said when a large amount of weight shook the jet. Kalli held herself upright with the assistance of the walls around her as the ramp of the quinjet was suddenly ripped open. A figure suddenly slipped in and everything happened so fast. The blonde stranger slammed his hammer into Tony's chest, sending to coliding into Steve and the floor. Before Kalli could grab her whip, the stranger grabbed Loki and jumped out the jet. Kalli realised that that man, God, was Thor Odinson. Loki's brother, son of Odin himself.
