Adrien's POV
"Thank you." I hear her whisper. We were on the ground hugging each other like our lives depended on it. I'm not sure I ever wanted to let her go.
"You deserve everything, Mari. You don't need to thank me, because I did nothing." I whispered in her ear, like it was a secret I've been keeping for years upon years. She aggressively shakes her head.
"You deserve everything, Adrien. You did everything, you were there for me when I tried so hard to push you away, you hugged me and comforted me more than once. So once again, thank you." I smiled at how sincere her voice sounded. I noticed how she took a deep breath and a small smile formed onto her lips. "You know," she began, "You've saved me more times then I could count. That night on the Eiffel Tower, you were so gentle and kind. You didn't even know what was just about to transpire just a few minutes before you showed up. And then just a few hours ago, you saved me when I collapsed from starvation. If I went home, I would have probably died today. I am so lucky to have you as my partner, and I'm even luckier to be able to call you my friend. You are my very best friend." I released my breath that I didn't even know I was holding and I could feel my eyes widen.
"So-so you know?" I heard her laugh. Something that I haven't heard in a long time. We separated from our hug much to my dismay and I finally got to look at the love of my life. Her hair was out of it's signature ponytails leaving her hair to perfectly frame her face, her eyes were red and slightly puffy from crying but there was something in her eyes that I haven't seen in a long time. Her eyes were sparkling and the once dull eyes were becoming brighter and had a sliver of hope. But when I paid closer attention I noticed how her eyes held sadness in them still and I knew this was going to be a long road to recovery, but that was fine. I would wait a thousand years to see her finally be happy again.
"I'll tell you about that later. Is it okay if I have some of that soup? I don't think I can keep it all down, but I might have a few spoonfuls to start with." She looked hesitant to be talking about food, as if she was afraid I would judge her for even talking about it.
"Could you try more than just a few spoonfuls? You don't need to eat all of it, but you need enough so you can at least get some nutrients in your body." I saw how her face contorted into to fear and I knew she wanted to decline, but then I saw how she looked at me with determination in her eyes.
"I don't know if I can do it, and I'd be lying if I told you that I'm not scared to even try the soup. But I want to get better, I really do. So I'll try." I smiled at her as happiness swelled up inside of me. She was trying so hard, that just meant I had to try even harder.
Marinette's POV
My hands were shaking with anxiety as Adrien went to get the soup heated up once again. I don't remember the last time I had a full meal. I don't even remember the last time I wasn't hungry. I guess it's second nature now. I'm used to it, the pain of starvation, of constantly being drained of energy.
"I'm back! I hope you like Garbure." I looked at him and could feel my hands shaking even harder now. I loved Garbure soup, it was one of my favorites, but now, when I looked at it, I despised it. Adrien gently gave me the bowl of soup and a spoon. I looked at it in my hands and I couldn't help but let the scent feel my nose. It smelled amazing and it looked delicious. As I grabbed the spoon with shaky fingers, I slowly put the spoon in the soup. Getting some of the condiments, I lifted the spoon to my mouth and took a bite. The warmth instantly filled me and my tastebuds were intruded with flavors that I forgot even existed. As I swallowed, I couldn't help a small smile form on my lips. It felt so good to have something to eat. You don't deserve it. You don't deserve anything. I felt the spoon leave my hands and clatter on the floor.
"I'm so sorry! It just slipped." I quickly apologized as Adrien pickle up the spoon.
"Don't worry about it. Do you like the soup?" He asked as he smiled at me. God, I love that smile. How it just lights up the whole room and he isn't even trying. It takes my breath away.
"It's good. Really good. I don't remember the last time I've had something with so much warmth." I told him truthfully. I felt weird talking about food. I forgot that food should be a normal conversation that almost everyone has. It makes me uncomfortable.
"Here, I grabbed another spoon just in case." He handed me the spoon and are fingers touched lightly for a split second.
"Thank you." I then began eating again. By my fourth bite my hands were shaking so much that I'm surprised I hadn't spilled anything yet. My instincts told me I shouldn't be eating, even if I would die. It took everything in me to ignore it and on keep eating. Adrien seemed to noticed and opened his mouth to speak.
"So how did you find out? About me being Chat noir?" He asked, seemingly trying to distract me. I was grateful for that.
"I'll answer that, but first, where's Tikki?" I was worried about her, I haven't seen her since I transformed into Ladybug to fight that akuma.
"I'm right here Mari!" I see a red blur flying towards me and ram itself into my cheek. "I was so worried! I didn't know when you're were going to wake up. I was so scared!" Her soothing voice reached my ears and I couldn't help but feel immensely guilty for making her so worried about me.
"I'm so sorry, Tikki. It won't happen ever again. I promise." Tikki stops hugging my cheek and flys in front of my face and looks at me with those adorable eyes that always hold so much kindness and warmth,
"You better promise. I want you to be taking care of yourself from now on, I wouldn't know what to do if something to you happened." I smile at her, grateful for how lucky I am to have her in my life. As Tikki flies onto my shoulder I slowly look at Adrien. And I tell him, "Okay, I'll tell you."
I tell him everything.

Hi everyone! Sorry for such a long wait. I've been dealing with a lot of stuff and needed a small break. I hope everyone is having a great week!
For those who don't know, Garbure is a French soup.
