Her hands fell as she looked at me with shock in her eyes. I closed my eyes tightly, expecting for her to hit me but it never came as it was replaced by her warm embrace.

"Its alright son, I will always be by your side like you would. I'll even help you along the way so don't worry alright?": she comforted me with her words as she wiped away the tears streaming down my face.

I just nodded.

"So who's the lucky father? Is he an alpha?": she asked excited.

I bit my lip and lowered my head as I didn't want to tell her the truth.

"Its okay son, you don't have to say it if you don't want to.": she patted my head before looking up and scanned around the house.

"You know what? I don't think is suitable for us to stay anymore so what do you think about us moving?": she asked with excitement in her eyes.

"B-but what about d-dad.": I asked, afraid that they will leave each other even though I already knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

"Forget about that mutt, we don't need him and we are better off without him anyways.": she shrugged.

"B-but-": I tried to ask but was cut off by her gently poking my stomach.

"No more buts my son, we need to find a more suitable place for this young man in here.": she said with a smile on her face.

"How would you know its a boy?": I asked in confusion.

"I just have a feeling its a boy and an alpha.": she grinned before standing up and stretching her back while placing her hands on her hips.

"Now you should go and pack your things while I discuss some things with your uncle.": she pulled me up while pushing me towards the stairs.

"Wait. We're living with uncle John?": I asked excited.

"Hmmm I don't know, maybe.": she shrugged before taking out her phone to dial a specific person.

I stood there with her, waiting patiently for him to pick up the phone but  she gave me a look which tells me to do what she had just said so I pouted and slowly walked up the stairs in defeat.

Feeling rather excited, I wasted no time and packed everything that was necessary and within an hour, I was done. I skipped happily towards my mother's room in of course, a slow pace as I didn't want to trip and hurt the baby inside me.

Gently knocking on the door, I heard my mother answer so I opened the door and walked in, seeing her packing her clothes in a large luggage bag. She looked at me with a warm smile becore walking towards me and guided me to sit on the bed. She pulled out a necklace and placed it around my neck.

"I want you to have this so that if anything happens to me, at least you can remember me by looking at this."

I took the metal locket in my hand and opened it, seeing a picture of her when she was younger on the top part of the locket while the bottom part had a picture of me when I was a baby.

"Don't say things like that. You will live until your hair turns gray.": I chuckled.

"Well you never know.": she shrugged before going back to packing her stuff while I just sit there and watch her pack.

She was a elegant young woman who had moon shadow-black hair paired with a pair of hazel colored eyes. Atop her eyes stood a pair of arched eyebrows that looked down on sweeping eyelashes and delicate ears and a button nose. She wasn't tall nor short and her body frame was just right if she were to become a model but somehow she didn't as she ended up being a housewife and had got married at an early age before giving birth to me instead.

It had just been a few moments and she had already finished packing. She stood up clapped her hands before wiping her eyebrows. "Done, now we leave early tomorrow morning. Is it okay with you?": she asked and I eagerly nodded my head as a yes.

"Good, now I should go and prepare dinner for the three of us one last time before we dump his sorry ass.": she checked the time before rolling her eyes and walked out the room.

"Oh and remember to be careful.": she warned before closing the door and walked down the stairs, leaving me in the room.
