3rd person P.O.V:

It was already 2 in the morning but the boy's room was still lit up as he was trying to finish his assignment. Finally giving up when he couldn't solve the third question, he switched off the lights and kissed his son on the forehead before flopping on the mattress, not bothering to clean up the unfinished homework and fell asleep, forgetting to set the alarm.

He woke up to a hard punch to his jaw, his father kicked him in the stomach before shouting at him to wake up and make breakfast. Turning to look at his son who was already awake and looking at him with shock, he ignored the pain and sat up, patting his son on the head before smiling at him like nothing happened.

"Good morning Junnie, its time for school now. Can you be a good boy and brush your teeth by yourself? Mommy needs to prepare breakfast first alright?": he asked his son.

"Alright mommy.": Jun obeyed his mother and walked into the bathroom to brush his teeth.

Swiftly taking out their uniform from the closet, he placed them on the bed before picking up the scattered books littered on the floor and stuffed them in his backpack. Making sure that nothing was left, he quickly dashed out the room and ran to the kitchen to make breakfast, managing to fry bacon and eggs with shaky hands.

Remembering that he needs to dress Jun into his school uniform, he was about to run into his room but stopped when he saw his son walking out, fully dressed into his uniform without any loose buttons. The child looked at his mother with the same expressionless face before walking towards the dining table and grabbed the lunch box,  placing it into his small backpack and looked at him.

(M/N) just stood there, smiling brightly as he was proud of his son for being independent. Jun was not like the rest of the children his age, he doesn't talk much and often doesn't show much expressions. (M/N) still loved him unconditionally even though he was a bit different because he knew that the boy had became like this was all because of his grandfather. After witnessing the countless beatings and shouting of his grandfather, he had been traumatized which in turn he never dared to show any signs of happiness or anger, scared that he would hurt his mother if his laughter was heard by the man.

After realizing that he was running out of time by staring at his precious son, he immediately ran back into the room and got ready for school. Slipping into his shoes, he held onto his son's hand and walked to their school in a fast pace. Jun arrived just in time but he himself was late so he sprinted, arriving half an hour late.

Sliding the door open, he saw an unfamiliar face and assumed it was their new English teacher, Mr.Jung. He looked at the boy with a stern face and clicked his tongue, making the boy gulp as he slowly walked into the class.

"You're late for half an hour, you might as well not show up at all Mr.Kim.":the teacher said in cold tone, sending shiver's down his spine as he instantly bowed.

"I'm sorry Sir, I missed the bus.": (Y/N) lied as he didn't want to tell him that he had to make breakfast for his father which made him late.

The teacher observed the boy for a moment before sighing. "I'm going to let you off the hook this time Mr.Kim, and please don't be late next time. You may take a seat."

"Yes Sir.": without saying another word, the boy made his way towards his seat and sat down.

Whisperers could be heard and the boy didn't even need to know what they were gossiping about. The class thought that he does illegal things and thought that he is a prositute due to the bruises and small cuts on his face. This rumor about him had been going around since last year but he never bothered about telling the truth since it was better than them finding out that the wounds were from his abusive father. Due to all these false rumors, he didn't have any friends in school as they were all afraid of him which he found it better since the alphas would leave him alone.
