It had been 3 months since we lived here now and I was starting to get bored of always sitting in the house with nothing to do. I would always whine to my mother about wanting to get a part time job but she always refused to let me apply for one as it was dangerous for me and the baby.

It was now evening and I was sleeping peacefully until my mother shouted from downstairs, telling me to come down and eat dinner. Even though I hate waking up, I didn't know why but it was the first time I had disobeyed her as I continued to lay on the bed, not wanting to get up.

"(Y/N)! Do you hear me? Get up now!": my mother shouted but I just covered my face with the warm blankets, not planning to get up anytime soon.

The sound of the door opening made me suddenly regret my decisions but I didn't seem to bother as I closed my eyes, trying to fall back to sleep. I felt a presence beside the bed but I didn't care as anger was slowly boiling inside me. The warm blanket that was covering me was pulled away and I started to whine, feeling tears well in my eyes as the figure picked me up.

"Come on bud, you gotta eat dinner or you are gonna starve the baby inside.": he said and I suddenly stayed still and let him pick me up. Just hearing his voice sends shivers down my spine and it makes you want to listen to him.

He carried me all the way down the stairs and into the kitchen before placing me on the chair. My mother furrowed her brows and was about to open her mouth to scold me but Taeyong stopped her.

"Its alright sis, its because of his pregnancy. They can be emotionally sensitive sometimes and have tantrums.": Taeyong whispered to my mother before sitting down on the dining table.

"Hey kid, I know this whole pregnancy thing is hard for you but you still have to eat to keep yourself and the baby healthy alright?": Taeyong comforted the younger when he saw tears welling up in his eyes.

The younger bit his lip and nodded before digging into the food that was in front of him. He smiled to himself when he saw how obedient the younger was even though he wanted to refuse.

"How do you know this much about pregnancy?": his mate asked him with suspicion.

"I learned about it during highschool.": he bit his lip and looked away, not wanting the older to find out his true intentions.

"Its because I want to have a child with you John.": he thought to himself before starting to eat like nothing happened.

"Oh yeah. About (Y/N) here, he said he wants to apply for a job. Do you know a place where it is safe for him to work comfortably? He keeps whining about being bored.": my mother asked.

The two married couple looked at each other for a moment before Taeyong replied.
"He can work in my shop that's down the street, me and John opened up a cafe last month."

"Oh I'm worried that he might be a burden to your employees."

"He won't, plus there is also another employee who is also pregnant. I hire people like them so they can earn some money on their own."

My mother looked at me with a worried expression. "Are you sure about this (Y/N). You won't be able to sleep whenever your're tired."

I rolled my eyes. "I'm three months pregnant, not 3 years old."

She sighed before nodding. "Alright then, but be careful alright?"

"Thanks mom, your're the best!": I jumped and ran up to give her a hug.

"(Y/N)! What did I just tell you?!": she said before giving a gentle flick on my forehead.

"So when can he start?"

"He can start tomorrow if he wants, I can take him there on his first can to show him the ropes."

"Alright then, you better behave (Y/N).": my mother warned me.

"Yes mom.": I replied before going towards Taeyong hyung and gave a hug.

"Thanks hyung, you're the best."

"No problem kiddo.": he returned the hug.

"What about me?": a voice asked and I turned around and saw Uncle John with a pout.

"You too Uncle John, thank you.": I hugged him the same way how I hugged Taeyong hyung.

"You're welcome.": he said before giving me a bear hug.

The Next Morning:
We woke up earlier than usual because Taeyong hyung needs to open up the shop himself. He said it was because one of his employees had something to deal with and will be a little late.

Following him down the street, we eventually reached in front of the cafe that is huddled despondent among the huge city buildings, washed out under the overcast sky, hunched in itself and fighting against the drizzle.

When he opened the door, we were heralded by a blast of cold wind. Unlike the outside, the interior of the cafe was warm and cheery, decorated with bright lights and colourful walls.

"Our cashier has taken the week off so you can take his place for the mean time until he returns.": he said and I just nodded my head.

He checked his watch. "We are about to open in less than half an hour so Jungwoo arrive-": he paused when a boy with blonde hair walked in with a smile.

"Morning boss!": he bowed to the older before looking at me.

"Right on time as always Jungwoo, how is everything going on between you and Lucas?": he asked.

"We are doing great hyung. Thanks for asking and may I ask is this a new employee?": he looked at me.

"Yes, this is (Y/N). (Y/N) this is Jungwoo, the one I talked about yesterday, he is going to show you how everything is done alright?": he asked and I just nodded my head.

"I should get going now and Jungwoo, I trust that you are able to handle your own kind.": he patted the younger's before leaving.

"Leave it to me boss! Have a great day!": he said to him before turning around and raised up his hand.

"Nice to meet you (Y/N), I am Jungwoo as you may know and i'm going to show you around so follow me.": he said and I nodded my head before following him, consuming as much information as I can.
