"(M/N), I've looked at your grades and you are basically failing every single subject. If you really want to go to college than I suggest you go and find a tutor as quick as possible."

"I'm studying as hard as I can Mr. Jung."

"(M/N), it's been weeks and you aren't getting any better. Let me help you. "

"Thank you but I just need more time.

"(M/N), I really need you to arrange something with me so that I can tutor you and get your grades back up."

"I'm sorry but I couldn't afford it."

"(M/N), you're still failing. If you plan to go to college than I suggest that you just give in and let me help you. I won't collect money from you."

"That's very kind of you Mr.Jung but I'm still going to have to decline."

It had been like that for the past month since Mr. Jung had started teaching the class. He would always be saying the same thing to (M/N) every time when school ended and it was starting to stress the boy out.

Today was a Tuesday and (M/N) felt extremely frustrated because it was when Mr. Jung would lecture him again. (M/N) was annoyed by the older but deep down, he knew that the older just wanted to help. Ever since the older told him that he wasn't going to collect tutoring fees, he actually wanted to go but he couldn't as he knew it would affect his part time jobs so he had no choice but to decline the older's offer.

"Mr. Kim, stay back for awhile as usual.": he instructed, making the boy sign in annoyance.

"Sir, like I said I-": he got cut off when the older smiled at him, his dimples on display and making the younger's heart skip a beat.

"I'm not going to talk about that today (M/N). Is it okay if I call you (M/N)?": he asked, making the boy nod.

"I've heard the rumours about you and it made me worry."

"It made me notice the occasional cuts and bruises on your face and arms. Is it true that what your classmates say about you are real? You can talk to me.": the said, sounding truthful and sincere.

Consemplating that he could trust the older, he opened his mouth to say something.

"I-": he was about to say when the older's phone lit up, showing a notification.

"I'm sorry but I have to go Sir.": he quickly bowed and sprinted out the school building to get his son as quick as possible, knowing that he is about to receive another beating from his father for being late to cook lunch for him.

Next Morning:
The alarm rang loudly, making (M/N) hit the snooze button in a quick motion. Sighing and rubbing his eyes, he pulled away the blanket. Moving forward to sit up, a sudden sharp pain shot through his body, making him hiss and fall back down onto the bed.

"Are you okay Mommy?": Jun ran to the side of his mother's bed and cupped his face with his small hands.

"I'm alright Junnie, mommy's just tired.": (M/N) gently ran his finger through his son's hair.

"Now, since Junnie's a big boy now, why don't you go and brush your teeth while mommy makes breakfast hmm?": (M/N) said, making the boy nod his head and walk into the bathroom.

Minimizing his grunts as much as possible as to not scare his son, he struggled out of bed and made his way to the kitchen to make breakfast.

It was perfect timing as when he just finished making breakfast, his son was already putting on his shoes. For once in a long time, everything seems to go according to plan.
