"(M/N)?": he heard a voice call out to him and snapped out of his thoughts.

"Huh?": he hummed and looked at his uncle to see the three of them looking at him with worry.

"Are you okay? You've been spacing out lately.": his uncle said, that was when he realized that he hasn't even taken the first spoon of rice that had been sitting on the spoon for about a minute.

"Oh yeah... yeah...just assignments been hectic lately.": he quickly blurted out a lie.

"You sure?": Taeyong asked with a raised brow.

"Yeah yeah.": he said before quickly eating his meal, trying to avoid any further questionings.

"Okay then...": they dropped the subject and continued eating in silence.

When they were finished, (M/N) cleaned the dishes and was about to head up the stairs to bathe Jun when his aunt called him.

"Your clothes were packed and sent here this morning, I've placed it in your room.": he said, making the boy feel a tingle.

"Mr.Jung was here?": he asked, a little excited even though he wasn't ready to forgive the alpha for what he did.

"No, his friend Yuta did."

"Oh... ": was all he could say, he felt a little disappointed but soon shrugged it off.

He remembered the alpha talking to Jaehyun at the bar due to his manager talking about how hot he was and how she wanted to try and flirt with him. He felt that the alpha was nice.

After thanking his aunt, he continued up the sfairs and opened the door to see Jun sitting at the edge of the bed with his feet dangling, already waiting for him.

Giving him a smile, he then scanned around the room to spot the luggage at the corner of the room. It was just the second day of moving into his uncles house so there are still some clothes left unpacked since he was totally out of it yesterday.

Unzipping the luggage that was placed at the corner of the room, he opened it to find his and his son's clothes neatly packed amd folded into the small compartment.

Grabbing a pair of clothes for his son, he ushered him into the bathroom and was about to remove his clothes when his aunt came in.

"Hey (M/N)? Can I bathe Jun?": he awkwardly asked.

"Sure, but he won't be that easy though.": (M/N) chuckled before handing him his clothes and walked out.

Heading back to the luggage, he grabbed his clothes and decided to take a shower since Jun is being taken care of judging by the water splashing and Taeyong's yelps, telling him to stop.

Laughing at the two, he got up and started walking when he heard something drop to the floor, letting out cling sound. Looking down, he saw a familiar locket that he had lost years ago.

Ever since his mother hung it around his neck, he had never took it off unless he went for a shower. The possibilities of him loosing it were close to zero but when he moved back to his father's, it was gone the other day. He knew the man had took it but was too afraid to ask about it and soon forgotten about it, which made him curious as to how his teacher found it.

Unlocking it, his heart sank upon looking at the slightly cracked glass frame that sealed the photo in place. His finger glided across the cracked frame, feelings never changing despite the currect state of it as he still wore it on like it was brand new.

Happy that he got back the only thing that his mother gave to him, he stepped into the shower with a smile, hearing the two bickering from the other side, Taeyong obviously loosing the water splashing game.
