The morning sun glistened through the windows of your bedroom. You squinting at how bright of it. You rolled over, to only see on your clock that is near noon. You slept through your interview time. 'SHIT!' You rose up from your bed, grab your phone off the charger on your end table. No new emails from them, you can't go back. So much for that real-estate application. Maybe that isn't your strong suit. But, it's time to move on. And you have a whole city to explore, so why not get the courage to go do that.

You waddled down the hallway into the shower, ignoring the fact that both Ethan and Tyler aren't home. They're probably at work you thought. And, in fact, they were. Ethan left a small sticky note on the mirror knowing your routine of showering in the mornings, it said; 'Hey! Tyler and I are doing some stuff, be back soon!'. You could tell Ethan was happy, and doing something he loved. Maybe taking his dog out for a walk? Who knows.

After you took your shower, you felt so relaxed. The mindset you were in went from tense from the missed interview to calm, like you could ease into anything if you wanted to. You didn't have a care in the world. You made your way back to your room to put on some ripped jeans and a sweatshirt. Very casual, you like that.

Now, time to explore! The depths of Los Angeles only brings curiosity for an adventurous soul- no clue where you heard that from. But that quote only pushed you more to adventure, maybe make some new friends? You left the apartment, locking it behind you. You throw the keys into your small backpack, and you throw it onto your back, strolling down the cement stairs to the front doors of the apartment complex. The stench that once roamed the halls on the first floor was gone, thankfully. You walk down the pavement, watching as some cars drive by.

After walking aimlessly, you find yourself walking along a deep forest and a mansion. The gates of the mansion were wide open. The large mansion was large, with a 1930's aesthetic. You absolutely adored it. No one would mind if you just- strolled on into the property, would they? It seems like it hasn't been touched in a few decades. Probably abandoned. Tyler, as an officer wouldn't care- so you thought. You briskly walked down the stoned paths that lead to the large home. As you finally got to the front, you knocked on it, expecting no one to answer.

But someone did.

"Hello- can I help you?"
