Damien eventually caught up to the bunch- and tapped you on the shoulder. "Morning sunshine." He grinned. "Goodmorning." You yawn. You're still quite tired, hopefully being under the sunlight and the sight and smell of fresh flowers will help you wake up a little bit.
"How often do you guys pick flowers in the garden?" You asked them. There were stutters and mutters- none of them knowing the proper response. "Rarely- we thought you would like exploring the backyard just a little bit," Mark spoke up- and they all nodded in unison. "Oh- well... Thank you." You smile.
Then it hit you as you looked away from them while you all walked down the wide staircase down. They all never really 'hang out' like this. They are all here- because of you. You are bringing them together- but also dividing them with jealousy. Dark listened to your thoughts intently, and his eyes widen, not knowing what to do. But even h knew it was true.
Dark sped up, going your pace - directly by your side. You recognized that he got your thoughts- the worst timing to date. Dark had the urge to hold your hand- but held it back. An odd thing about Demons; they have a bad sense of boundaries- more specifically human boundaries.
He looked down at you, his eyes said it all. "Is that what this is?" He muttered- his lower register coming through. Mark and Damien looked at the both of you in confusion. "I-" "I'd certainly win this - though..." Dark thought out loud. "Uh- what are you guys talking about?" Mark asked. "He read my mind- that's all.." You reply awkwardly.
Though it's quite invasive, Mark uttered "I wish I could do that." and huffed. You all continued on- heading to the back door that led to a large and welcoming garden.
You stepped out- taking in the fresh air, and running off out of the sight of the others. There were flowers everywhere, you spun around taking the beautiful scenery in. The sun glistened on your skin.
Darks POV:
I can outdo these men, they are only human- I could win her over any day. I just have to study, and learn what women are like- what they want in a relationship. Demons are much different- with how they communicate. We are much more- how would one say it... physical, but I'm sure she can tell with my previous actions.
Maybe I can win her heart- but what would I do once I won? Stay with her forever? Or give her away...
I told Mark about the whole situation - as obviously he was interested in her as well, then he froze. Of course, he knew something we didn't. "I- didn't notice t-that.," Mark muttered. He was always bad at lying. "Spit it out, you imbecile." I lectured. "Language..." Damien scolded.
"Well..." He was about to say it- but couldn't. "What are you waiting for? If it's that serious to cover up..." I yawn. Mark was thinking deeply, searching his mind for the answers. He couldn't tell if his body forced him to keep his mouth shut- to access that memory or train of thought, but he kept going at it harder and harder- trying to unlock it.
Then, it happened. He froze, muttering all sorts of words that jumbled together into nothingness. "Wilford-" He uttered. Drank looked at him in disbelief. "Wilford? What about Wilford-- Oh shit." I opened my mouth in shock. His focused train of thought unlocked that argument- everything. He remembers the pain and guilt that was pressured onto him, but not only that- something else we have yet discovered.
"Celine, Wilford- It's not because of the cheating, it's something else." Mark looked back at Damien.
"No wonder we look alike."
Damien shook his head slowly- not taking in what Mark has been panicking about. "We aren't related- but we are, from me. They wanted me to forget that you all- are from me..." Mark murmured. I didn't believe it, and by Damiens' face- he didn't either. "You're speaking nonsense, Mark. Nonsense! Dark made you forget about the arguments - right Darkus?" Damien looked at me.
"I only made him forget about the party and the cheating- not whatever absurdity he's speaking about now..." I reasoned with them. It was Celine, she did this. "Absurdity? Not at all, Dark. It is plain and simple. You all came from me... you're part of my personality- my soul." He began.
"Have you ever questioned why we have so many similarities? Though we may have different heights- hair or whatever you want to compare- it's there." What spell would she have cast on us- if any? I wondered to myself. "We were oblivious- blinded by this... false reality!" Mark exclaimed.
Mark was right- the three of us looked at each other- we were quite similar- but I still had my doubts. "How would she be able to make us forget-" I inquired. "A few months ago, Celine told me that her mother was invested in, what do you call it... witchcraft?" Damien sighed. I was right, they really did cast a spell- not a spell, a curse.
"Maybe that's why she was so possessive- she was playing us." I deplore. To be completely honest - I thought she was a good person- but her doing this to my family- actually... I wouldn't assume family, maybe friends- we aren't directly related.
Then it connected - why are all three of us in love with one girl- we are one person, just separate bodies. Then that means- Wilford feels the same we that we do about her too...
Damien and I looked at each other in shock- as we may or may not just come to the realization of the same thing just now. "Wilford." We both said in unison, then turned to Mark.
"He is in love with ____ too..."
