You think the right door is the one you came out of- and headed through it- though it wasn't your room. There were quite a few suits hanging on the wall - a display. There were bright and colorful roses in a vase that may have been from the garden- with a little note on it that said 'for you angel'.
There was a large closet next to the dresser- that was filled with dresses and suits- looks like Celines kind of style. There was a chandelier in the middle of the room - hanging down a few inches. The carpeted floor was well kept- with a mauve looking undertone. There was not a single spec of dust anywhere, besides on the displayed suits.
You look over at the bed that wasn't yours and saw Damien sitting on the edge of the bed. He didn't notice you entering. You couldn't decide whether you should back out or go talk to him, as he just went through a breakup with Celine. The wound is still quite fresh.
You choose to leave the room- by going back through the door. As you open the door again- you heard a light sob. It made you freeze- and look back at him. He had his face in his palms- his breathing quickening for a few seconds and then relaxing. You tilt your head, a slight frown growing on your face. You didn't want to bother him, as Celine broke up with him because of you- so you continued to open the door to the bathroom.
Damien noticed and was startled. He looked back at you, "Stay, please.." He quietly pleaded, his voice hoarse and filled with emotion. You looked down at him, thinking if you should really stay- and sit there with him. He looked like a sad little puppy. You slowly nod, sitting down next to him. He smiled weakly, watching you sit awkwardly.
"I don't care if the sheets get a little wet- it's all good." He mutters. "Good." You respond. You both sat in silence for a little bit- Damien wiping his tears off his cheek. "So, I suppose you heard all of that, huh." Damien wasn't looking at you. He didn't seem like he was guilty of anything- but he just leaned forward- his elbows supporting him while they rested on his knees- folding a tissue that was in his hand.
"Yeah, but that's ok! Not a big deal." You sigh. "Everyone goes through hard times- and this is one of yours." You were never really good at comforting people, but it seems like your words of wisdom were just what Damien needed. "Yeah... this is one of my hard times, hm." He was deep in thought.
There was more silence until you broke it by reaching out to wrap your arm around his shoulder. Damien didn't really process it for a few seconds, but he took a deep breath and hugged you back tightly. His sudden force took you back, but you returned that hug. Eventually, he leaned on you in that hug- causing you to fall backward onto the bed, him on top of you.
You didn't know what to do in this situation- so you continued to hug him. "Damien-" You squeaked. He opened his eyes, removing his head from your shoulder. "Oh- uh... Sorry ____." He awkwardly apologized, chuckling quietly. You giggle at his awkwardness- and he pulled you back up from the laying position. "It's getting late, ____. You should probably get some rest soon." Damien sighed, in a better mood.
That hug was exactly what he needed. "Oh, yeah-" You looked out the window, the full moon glistening through it. It was a beautiful sight to see. "Thank you so much. That helped me a lot." Damien wiped a final tear from his cheek- smiling a little. "That's what I'm here for Damien, anytime." You nod.
Damien led you back to the bathroom- showing you the door that you were meant to go through- the middle one. When you were staring at yourself in the mirror- you seem to have forgotten there was one right behind you. You smile, opening the door. "Goodnight Damien."
"Goodnight ____."
