You followed him, passing by Damien- his eyes on you with sympathy, and just caringness. As you passed under the archway Mark was under, he raised his eyebrows, watching you swiftly trying to keep up with the temperamental, and unpredictable person in front of you.

His room was across the corridor you once explored, but this hallway was different. The once carpeted floor seemed to be ripped off- showing the vintage flooring that was rarely stepped on. There was ivy growing on parts of the walls, the green lighting up the hallway as the sun glistened through the windows. It was peaceful- unlike him. If anything, he was anything but peaceful... as far as you know. You find him entering one of the rooms to the left, and you follow him.

"Water?" He asks, pointing to the glass full of water- and mini glasses around it. "No thanks.." You mutter; he nodded. He poured himself a drink and began to sip it. "I haven't introduced myself... I'm Darkus." He sighs. "But, you can call me Dark." Dark grins softly. Now, on a name basis- you should say yours. "____." You mumble, avoiding his gaze. "I know- I said it earlier." Dark pauses. "Quite the popular name in this house recently- if I do say so myself." He adds on. You give him a soft smile, looking up at him again. "Here, take a seat." He points to a chair next to his bed. You sit down, watching him as he sat on the edge of his bed.

"Let's get down to business."

You gulp. "I know what you've seen, it's something Mark hasn't remembered in many years." He began. "It's a distorted memory, forbidding him from fully remembering any of that happened. Did you see Will?" Dark asked. You remembered a man named Wilford. "Yes... Wilford, right?" You clarified. He nodded. "He hasn't returned since this major fight between him, and his ex-fiance..." He took a drink of his stale water. You look up at him, getting trapped in his dark eyes. "Celine." Once he finished that sentence- you halted in confusion.

"The Celine here?" You ask. He nods again. "Ah- what was the fight about?" You say, leaning your head on your hands- holding your face up. "She cheated on Wilford with Damien- but Will put his anger onto Mark. Pure mistake, as they were best friends. Hurt him forever." Dark describes the fight like it's a storybook- and you were fully invested. "Gotcha." You mutter. You felt bad for Mark, and Dark noticed that. "Don't feel bad for him- he has his own issues anyways." He bit at your thoughts with those words. "How did you-" You stopped yourself- knowing that he knew what you were going to say in the beginning. "I got abilities that the average man doesn't." He smirked- looking smug.

You looked at him in awe, somewhat terrified though. He could use it against you, whenever he's angry like what he said to Celine. Maybe that's why Celine stopped talking? To defend Dark? "Don't stare into my eyes too long babydoll, it'll just make you feel worse and worse about me." He smirked- feeling your gaze on him as he took a sip of his water. "W-what?" You snapped back to reality when he said that. What is with these guys? Jeez, such a trance. He chuckles, setting his water on the end table next to his bed. "We've noticed." Dark winked. At this point- you started to feel sick.

"I think I'm gonna go home- I don't feel too well." You sigh, standing up to head to the door. Before you get to the door, you were pushed against the wall by Darkus. "Just, let me warn you.." His hand resting above your head. You felt like his prey. "Don't test my patience, or else I'll test yours." He grinned mischievously. You stiffened up and nodded vigorously. He got off the wall and let you leave, following you at a close distance. You walked down the spiral staircase- noticing that Celine was in the kitchen. This just leaves you with Damien and Mark (And Dark watching from the overhead on the stairs).

"Where- where are you going?" Damien walked closer to you, worry in his eyes. You now just realize that he had a diamond cane, but he doesn't truly use it for walking- just to hold. Maybe for power? "Home. Not feeling too great." You sighed. "Ah- ok. Will you come back in the future?" He asked you - his eyes searching yours for a yes. Is he just flirting with me now? You thought. Dark grumbled from afar. You stare at the ground blushing softly. "Maybe, yeah." You nod your head, looking back up at him. Damien smiles, relieved. "Fantastic! We could have dinner sometime. I'll cook." He cheers gleefully. You nod in agreement.

"Sure- have a great night." You wave, opening the door. Mark was hesitantly moving closer to the door as you walked out. Halfway down the path - you heard a call; "___! Wait!" Mark exclaimed, briskly jogging to catch up to you. You turned around to stop for him. "Yeah?" You were confused. "What did Dark say... About me, and the dream?" He put his hand on your shoulder. You felt a pounding sensation in your head, Dark was watching over you. "N-nothing! Just he was getting to know me, introduced himself to me... That's all." You reasoned with him.

Mark obviously didn't believe you- but he refrained from asking anymore. He thought you just didn't trust him... so he said his goodbyes to you- and you continued to walk off to the gate, and let yourself out.

TIME SKIP

You finished your boring walk and arrived at your beloved apartment, Tyler waiting for you. "___! Where have you been? It's almost 9." He sternly asked you. "Sorry, Dad" You joked. "I just went to a friend's home." You finished your reasoning. He sighed. "We were just worried." Tyler nodded. "Right Ethan?" He called Ethan. He was obviously not paying attention, as he was playing Animal Crossing on the Switch. "Y-yep!" He called back. You sighed. "Want dinner?" Tyler asked you, you simply shook your head. "Not hungry." Tyler nodded. "I'm heading to bed, been an interesting day." You wave at them, heading to your room.

You got your pajamas on and tucked yourself into bed. Your phone was casually charging on the end table next to you. You looked out the window, watching the stars and planes go by. You quickly dozed off to sleep- but when you woke up, it was pitch black... Something was unsettling you. There was a man in the corner of your room.

"Ah- you're finally awake." He grinned.
