My Little Ember (Male reader X daughter Cinder Fall)

Chapter 1

(y/n) POV

It's been two years since Ember left, "Dada!" Cinder said happily as she crawled over to me, "There's my big girl!" I said as I picked her up, "So this is where she went." Summer said, "Mama!" Cinder said, "No sweetie I'm not your mama, I'm Yang's mama." Summer said, "So (y/n) how's that cute girlfriend of yours?" She said, "Oh I'm managing somehow." A woman said.

"Holly, what are you doing here? I thought you were going on a business trip to Mistral." I said. Holly Sinclair, a lovely DA who specialized in criminal law, she's twenty-five and my girlfriend. We met two years ago when Ember signed custody of Cinder over to me. She was nice and eventually, she asked me out and we've been dating ever since. "Well, I couldn't just leave this little lady all alone with you." Holly said as she took Cinder from me. She was very good with Cinder, she was always so patient and gentle with her. And every now and then Cinder will call her mama. I think she likes acting motherly towards Cinder since her parents weren't around when she was growing up so her aunt had to raise her. "Was he a good boy Summer?" She asked, "Yes he was. He had no drinks today." Summer said, "Mama." Yang said as she crawled over to Summer, "And look who's jealous." Summer said as she picked up the infant. "Well hello, there little Yang." Holly said, "And her mother's completely out of the picture right?" She asked, "Yeah, Raven left a few months after she was born." Summer said as Yang chewed on her mother's hair, "Well I think it's wonderful she has a woman like you to call her mother." Holly said, "Well I've gotta go. Those grimm aren't going to kill themselves." I said as I kissed Holly and Cinder goodbye, "If they were then we'd be out of a job." Summer said, "Please be careful honey. Cinder needs her father." Holly said, "Don't worry I've got my weapons and I've my backups just in case. There's nothing to worry about." I said as I grabbed my main weapon.

"Say bye to daddy." Holly said as she waved Cinder's hand for her, "Bye." I said as I left.

When I arrived at my mission site my targets retreated into a cave, "Great now I can't use my main weapon!" I said as I sheathed my sword and great shield, and drew one of my back up weapons from my hip.

I entered the cave and killed several Ursa. I was about to kill another when it broke the blade off my sword forcing me to switch to my second backup weapon.

I killed the last Ursa and prepared to leave when I heard a bone-chilling roar, "Really this is NOT what I need right now!" I said.

Holly POV

"Ok Cinder say ahh." I said, "Ahh." I said as I fed her a little spoonful of mashed peas making her get fussy, "I know it's gross but it's good for you baby girl." I said as I cleaned up the mush she spat out off her face, "You know I moved in with you and your dad to help out with you as much as I could, but you need to work with me, little girl." I said as I continued to feed her. "Ok how about we go play for a while and then we'll see if you're hungry." I said as I took her out of her highchair and took her into the living room. My semblance allows me to become hyper-agile and as a side effect a long tail forms on me, I really don't have a good use for my semblance but Cinder seems to like my tail so I let her use it as a play toy. I activated my semblance and sat Cinder down on the floor. I began to tickle her with my tail making her laugh, "I'm home." (y/n) said as he walked into the house exhausted, "Honey what happened?! You're filthy!" I said, "Yeah turns out there was an Ursa Major there too and despite what you think they are NOT easy to deal with in tight spaces!" He said, "I'm gonna shower and then I'll get dinner started." He said, "No, that's alright, I'll make dinner tonight." I said, "You sure, you made dinner last week." He said, "I'm sure, now go shower I'll get started on dinner." I said as he went upstairs, "Alright sweetie, looks like we're cooking. How about spaghetti. It's quick and you get to make a mess." I said suddenly I smelled something disgusting, "I know that smell." I sais as I covered my nose, "Your dad really needs to get you potty trained." I said as I picked Cinder up and took her upstairs to change her. "Your dad is so lucky to have me." I said as I kissed her forehead.
