They held out till the end and refused to sell out or give in to BluePath. Their whole family was wiped out and the refineries all blown up. There is a paper clipping about the murders and sabotage where they claimed it was terrorists from some obscure country. There was never any explanation as to why anyone except BluePath would do such a terrible thing. Once they were gone then BluePath had free range to start buying up sections of the food industry untill they had full control of all our food's production. This shows the companies wealth at the time of the crash and it also shows how they were systematically bringing about that very crash.
