Before we start I wanted to say thank you all so much for 1k+ reads seriously that's crazy! I love you all before I start crying I'll let you get to the story! The song really doesn't mean anything I just listened to it a lot while writing this chapter
Y/n's POV

Sitting in the puddle of blood as drops of water fell from the ceiling of the cave, joining the tears streaming down my own face. Eyes wide looking over the body in front of me, what was I to do? I couldn't just leave him there but I needed to get moving yet no matter how hard I tried I couldn't bear to stand up, the weight of everything held me down. I was so sick of hiding, playing the same game over and over again.
Slamming my fists hard on the ground till they bled begging more and more for Ollie to wake up. How could I have been so foolish? To trust Theo? To trust Ollie? I didn't know what the hell I was supposed to believe anymore.
A faint voice shouted in my head trying to break through the thick wall I had built inside.
Y/n it's me, you have to get moving

The familiar voiced stated
I.. I can't, I can't leave him here
Stuttering in between sobs I had managed to let go of Ollie's hands.
Please Y/n you have to be strong, you have to save everyone.
I can't it's too much, I'm alone how can I possibly save anyone
The voice hesitated before speaking
I guess its time for you to find us, follow the river it will lead you to the place we call home, I'll see you then.

The voice had left, I sat for a moment rethinking my decisions. Then it happened, my legs began to move and as well as my hands I raced for the river forgetting about the previous events, dashing through the thick ice and snow as my boots slipped occasionally.
Losing my balance quickly and landing in the piercing cold water, slowly retrieving myself from the river I continued to run as my hair began to freeze from the crisp air but I couldn't allow that to stop me I had to trudge on, for Ollie, for all of those poor children who will have to endure the same life in the 'hospital' as me. I'd never wish that place onto anyone, not even Theo, God Theo what have you done? Hadn't Ollie been your best friend? Hadn't I? Tears froze as soon as they fell.
God come on I can do this I just have to keep going
Trying to convince myself was losing game, what did I even have to offer? Sure I can supposedly do other things that most inks cannot but how in hell could that even be true?
I came to a stop as smoke covered the horizon, chants and songs came from ahead, wiping the tears from my eyes I found myself in a camp, a camp of inks.
Children ran around playing with their own abilities, however, when walking into the camp everyone stopped their movement and stared wide-eyed to me.
"Y/n!!!! You're here! You're really here!" A girl ran to me and hugged me tightly, her voice was so familiar but her face had been unrecognizable. Taking a few steps back from the girl.
"I'm sorry but who are you?" I asked quietly.
"Of course," She smiled "Maybe you would know me better this way."
You found me
My eyes grew wider than I imagined they could as tears began to build up once again, though this time I couldn't fathom why was I happy? Relieve maybe?
"It's you?" I stood in disbelief as she nodded I quickly ran to her once again hugging her in a tight embrace.
"Everyone it is alright, this is the Ink I had been telling you all about! Y/n this is my camp, well my mothers actually but I am the co-founder." She smiled as everyone went back to their daily callings. "Come you must be cold, as well as hungry I assume." I nodded

We walked to a small tent inside sat a warm tub and a changing station.
"I must say how sorry I am for my tribe as we say, I'd almost forgot being covered in dirt and blood isn't normal for those who grew up here." She giggled slightly "I've warmed a bath for you so you can get cleaned up and I'll have your clothes washed for you" I nodded as she walked out, quickly stripping off my clothing I stepped into the water, the warmth was welcoming as I plunged into it, washing the blood and dirt from my body. The girl walked back in.
"Oh sorry! I probably should have asked before barging in!" she smiled nervously rubbing the back of her neck.
"It's alright." I reassured her hiding my body further in the water "You know I never got your name." I replied, she smiled.
"I suppose your right, my name is Camila but you can call me Camie or mi, any of them is fine!" she picked up my frozen clothing and began to walk out.
"Wait! Can you stay with me? I don't like being alone." I blushed slightly at my own foolish question.
"Of course, just give me a minute to gather some clothes for you and I'll be back" I nodded as she walked away.

A few moments later Camie had walked back in holding a pair of fresh new clothes.
"I apologize for the wait some town members came back with today's hunt."
"It's alright." I smiled, Camie pulled up a small stool next to the bath. She reached to my back running her fingers over the old yet still sensitive cuts, I winced and bit my lip.
"Right sorry! It's just I've seen some bad cuts but this takes the cake." She notioned for the bathing cloth and I handed it to her "How bad does this hurt?" she ran the cloth slowly around the cuts cleaning them.
"Pretty bad but I can deal." She nodded and slowly poured alcohol onto the cuts.
"This is gonna burn." She held out her hand "Feel free to squeeze it as hard as you want but I need to clean the cuts." I grabbed her hand hesitantly taking it into my own. She dabbed the cloth on slightly and even that had burned like a thousand suns. Tugging Camie's hand into my own slightly squeezing hard.

"Okay I'm done," she said sitting back in her chair but not letting go of my hand. I nodded before she got up to let me get dressed. "I'll be back once your done changing." She looked to me with red flushing her face. Did I imagine that?

I sat with my thoughts for a moment before getting dressed, I wore a black long-sleeved turtle neck with Jeans and a fuzzy winter coat. I always hated jeans, their to stiff. Ignoring my pickiness I walked out of the tent rubbing my arms to keep warmth. Spotting Camie talking to a few children I smiled softly and walked to her.
"Oh good, you're here! Kids this is Y/n!" I smiled slightly and waved to them. They slightly hid behind Camie. "Geez, sorry Y/n they aren't used to newcomers, last one we had tried to sell us to the government." she giggled nervously, I noticed she seemed to giggle a lot, even in situations that shouldn't be laughed at, weird.
"Anyways!" she clapped her hands "Let's get you moved in and then I'll show you around"

I followed Camie to a tent with two beds inside.
"I hope you don't mind but since I'm really the only one you know I made the choice to room with you."
"It's fine," I replied sitting on the bed feeling the soft comforters, Camie smiled and sat at her bed.
"You know what change of plans, I can see your exhausted, what if we wait to look around for tomorrow so you can get some rest." She gazed at me softly.
"I'd love that idea, I am really tired, actually I can't remember when I last had a good night sleep." I chuckled nervously.
"Well I'll fetch us some food and then we can head to bed." I nodded as she strolled off once again, unzipping my hot jacket and putting it on the bed stand I began to also take off my shoes, pulling back the fuzzy covers on the bed.

My eyes almost closed completely before loud gasps and hollers could be heard from outside the camp, I quickly got up slipping on my shoes and coat, calls for a medic and Camie could be heard all around. I barely got out of the tent before Camie came running past me to hold a person in her arms.
No
No
This is a fucking joke, right?
How can he be here?

Why is he here!?

In Camie's arm laid Theo, disheveled and bleeding.
