The night ended with Anna sitting on Jeremys lap, playing pac man. Kyscin and I played ping pong. Which surprisingly, he won. Everyone had a good time. Even Lynn, who played Mario Kart with Mike. I'm happy they enjoyed my date as much as I did. Kyscin really made yesterday a night I'll never forget. I look up and there are white and green streamers along the middle of the very tall building walls. There are green and orange ballons taped to the walls. The big sign hanging high from a string, connected to each wall reads, 'congratulations Warriors! You made it!'. There are four tables with food and drinks. Two on each side of the wooden stage and each of them are against a wall across from another. There is music playing and all one hundred warriors are dancing. Kyscins hands are on my sides. As we rock side to side I rest the back of my head on his chest. "I see the party has begun." Diane says into a mic. She's standing on the stage and I turn around to face the entrance doors. Diane pushes her left hand down twice into the floor and the music gets quiet. "I don't want to take too much of your time, I would just like to say congratulations to the first twenty five warriors to complete their test." she says sincerely. Everyone cheers and I turn to Kyscin while clapping my hands. He turns to me clapping his hands and smiles. I smile back and then look back at Diane. Diane turns to face the entrance doors. "Those of you who didn't finish quick enough, I know you are meant to be here. You belong here, and I know you'll prove it." she says proudly. She turns back around facing me. "Good luck! Let the celebration continue." she says. She walks down the steps and over to her left. She grabs a drink off the table as I approach her. "Diane." I say, standing behind her and she turns to face me. "Warrior Wyatt. How are you?" she asks with a smile. "Great, and even better hearing that." I say with a laugh. "It's a great feeling isn't it?" she quizzes. "Oh yea." I say. I grab a drink from the table and turn to my left to look at Diane. "Thank you." I say sincerely. She turns to her right and looks at me confused. "For what?" she asks. "Do you want just one answer?" I ask and she laughs. "I'm just very honored to know you. I'm so appreciative that you accepted me into your diverse and advance program. Thank you for existing, thank you for believing in me. Not many people did. Just. Thank you." I say wrapping my arms around her back. She laughs, wrapping her arms around my upper back. "It was easy to believe in you." she says pulling away and looking at me. "MCHS doesn't teach you how to fight, they teach you how to hone the skills you already have. If they had to teach everyone how to fight there would be no time for assessment or one on one battles. When I seen your win loss ratio I knew you were special. Your score was unbelieveable." she says. I smile. I knew I was great back then but hearing her say my score is unbelievable is unbelievable. Coming from her that's the biggest compliment. The mother warrior, the queen of all warriors, the all knowing and all powerful warrior thinks my skills are unbelievable. I'm screaming on the inside right now. I smile big and she smiles back. She pats me on my left shoulder and walks straight passed me. I'm an official warrior now. I can finally save lives. I don't know why I felt like I needed validation from someone experienced to be able to do so but it feels good to have it even though I probably didn't need it. I can't wait to put smiles on peoples' faces. I'm so excited, I'm literally trying to hear any cries for help through this loud music. I wonder what my first outside battle will be. Maybe I'll save a woman from a burning building? No. I can't take jobs away from people. That's a fire fighters duty. There are many crimes happening that nobody stops and I am going to be the one to stop them. Like robberies or burglaries. The police are always filing reports on those and no one is ever brought to justice. This is going to be.. My thought is interrupted when someone barges into the school. I turn around and there are about twenty people walking into the school. I walk onto the stage and Kyscin walks up and stands behind me. "Where's Wavina Wyatt?" a boy yells. I look behind me at Kyscin and he looks as confused as I do. He puts my left hand in his right hand and stands beside me. I look at this almost six foot tall man with blonde shaggy short hair hanging over his right eye and realize it's Mitchel Gray. The suit he is wearing is made of white leather. I look at his feet and see that there is a black stripe swirling up each pant leg starting from the ankles. There are three red swords in the white parts of each pant leg. They have a red belt band and the buckle is white with a black sword in the centre. The logo on their chest is a big red, white and black sword. There are red buckles on their wrists. The boys have gold shoulder pads and the girls' V neck lines are gold. "Mitchel Gray" I say distastefully. He walks up the steps and stands in front of me. "That's right. You must be Wavina Wyatt." he says. I don't even know this guy and already I see an obnoxious, narsasistic asshole. I completely understand Martins annoyance everytime he talks about him. Mitchel is the leader of the POST warriors? Figures. They think it's okay to just barge in any place unannounced and uninvited? I don't think so. "what the hell do you want?" I inquire. "It's not what I want it's who I want." he says with a cocky grin. I turn to my left to look at Kyscin who looks perplexed or angry, I can't tell. Martin walks onto the stage and stands on my right. I look at Mitchel anxiously and take a step back. "Mitchel get out of here." Martin snaps. "Relax brother. I just came to see who I'll be facing at the Warrior battle games." he says smiling at me. What do they ingest that makes them so cocky and supercilious. They can't be like this because of skill or their insecure and brainless consult Andrew. I don't understand their confidence. They can't beat us. "Let me guess, it's me." I say annoyed. "very good." he says slowly clapping his hands together. "Now that I see you I knew I was right not to be threathened." he snarks. "oh yea!" I exclaim, jumping at him. Kyscin wraps his left arm around my stomach and pulls me back. Martin steps in front of Mitchel. "Why can't you ever just let your skills speak for you? It's a cowards move to get into your opponents head." Martin snipes. Mitchel laughs. Kyscin stands in front of me shaking his head. "He's not worth it. You know you're better than him, just prove it to him in the competition." I take a deep breath and nod my head. Kyscin moves back over to my left and I see a cocky smile spread across Mitchels face. I take a step towards him and look him dead in his eyes. "You don't know who I am, but you'll find out." I quip. He scoffs and then turns around whipping his right arm in the air. His classmates follow him out the door. "ugh." I spit out. "hey." Kyscin says shaking my left hand. I turn to him and he put his left hand on my cheek. "You are the best warrior there is. There is nobody better. Don't let him get to you." he says sincerely which makes me smile. "you're right. We're gonna kick their asses." I tell him confidently. Kyscin is right. Mitchel can't be compared to me. Him and I aren't on the same level. He'll never be able to beat me. I'm the best there is and he only thinks he's the best. He's going to be disappointed when he finds out who the best actually is and I can't wait to see the look on his face. Kyscin nods. "That's right." he agrees. Kyscin leads us down the stage and onto the dance floor. He spins me into his chest. All the arrogance in the world couldn't ruin my mood. I got the guy I've always wanted and the status I've dreamed of for as long as I can remember. I beat the odds when I was the first to complete my test and now I get to add another feat to my list, when I beat Mitchel at the warrior battle games.
