- Taehyung's POV -
"Let me go you witch!" I struggled against the bindings I was put into. Almost making it out, but was forcefully pushed down by the guards. I watched as the truck that held y/n drove off.
"Don't you dare try anything so stupid. We have your partner remember. If you do anything out of line she'll pay the price. Now, be a good kitty and follow the rules." Ruby says, swinging her hand to hit me on the cheek. I wanted to cry. Even though y/n was worried about this whole plan, I was the most worried. Not having her near was scary. She was always there to help me. I'm not the most skilled agent in the force, but she always believed in me. But with her not here, it was difficult.
"Remember, an agent never shows weakness on the field."
I replayed those words in my head over and over again. Mostly to hear her voice, but to also remember to not show fear.
"You two, put him in my office. Make sure he can't escape either. We don't need him leaving our family again." I was led to one of her cars and put in the back. Passing Jungkook, Lisa, and Rosé, I made sure to drop the flash drive with all the information of the plan so they can do their part. From the window, I saw Lisa pick it up and slip it into her pocket. Sitting back and sighing, I closed my eyes. The car reeked of cigarettes and overpowering perfume, making my head hurt. The only thing that was keeping me from passing out was the faint smell of y/n's perfume on my shirt.

"Get out cat. We are here." I was pushed out of the car and lead to a building. It was bigger than the last one I was taken to, but it had the same style. Dark, cold, and intimidating. Lead by two guards, I was taken to an elevator and we rode it to the top floor. But while heading up, I caught a faint smell of y/n, and strangely agent J.
She's here.
I had to force myself not to smile. Knowing that she was close gave me hope that this whole plan was going to work. When the elevator stopped. We got out and I was put into chains.
"Now cat. You will behave. You do not speak, you don't stand. If you do, you already know what the consequences are. So if I were you, I would listen.'' I kept my head down. Avoiding eye contact.
"Disrespectful little shit." She said, kicking me down. She left me in the room. This was my time to try and find anything to help contact y/n quicker.

- Y/N POV -
"Didn't you say her office was on the top floor? Shouldn't we check there first?" J shook his head.
"If she brought him there, which I am 100% sure she did, it's probably heavily guarded. We need to find that antidote for the red dragon first. So you guys can communicate again. That will help with escaping better." He whispered to me as we went through the halls, being careful that we don't get caught.
"Here. Let's go to the security room first. We could probably figure out how to turn off the camera's so we don't get caught as easily." Pulling out the small map of the building we found, we saw that the security room was back over where we were being held. When we got to the room, I tried the door handle.
"Damn. It's locked." J frowned.
"It. Won't be for long." He paced backwards a little bit, then ran forwards. Ramming the door open. Three guards were there. Frantically turning around, pointing their guns at us.
"Agent X?" One of the guards too her hat off, and it turned out to be Rosé. The other two followed the action, showing that the other two were. Jungkook and Lisa.
"What are you guys doing here?" Lisa held up the flash drive and smiled.
"We were sent here to turn off the security cameras. It was a message from Taehyung. After they took you, and Ruby left with Tae, we followed the car here,  and went through the back entrance." Jungkook walks up to me giving me a small bottle.
"Here. One of the guards was holding this on his way to see the two of you. He said it was the 'antidote for the girl' and I assumed it was for you." J took the bottle and read the label.
"This is the cure I was looking for! They must've only had one bottle of it."handed it back to me. I myself made sure I read the label as well before consuming the medicine tasting liquid. Instantly i felt a little woozy, but as promised I was able to hear Taehyung again.

Taehyung? Are you there?

I'm here. Please hurry.

I felt like crying. I could finally talk to him again.
"I'm assuming the drink worked?" Rosé looked at me smiling. I nod, also smiling.
"Great. Now, Lisa right?" J asked pointing to her, she nodded standing up.
"How far did you get to turn off those cameras?"
"I'm almost done sir. After they're off, it should be much easier to make our way up the building."
"Great. Finish that. X and I will keep guarda at the door." We both walk out of the room, waiting for any guards to come. Not even five minute had passed when we heard the cameras in the hall turn off.
"They're off. Come on. We don't have a lot of time before someone realizes they are-" before Lisa even finished, red flashing lights, followed by a siren, were seen and heard all through the building.
"Quickly! Find a way up to the top floor! We will hold off the guards." As the seconds passed, more and more footsteps were heard heading in the direction of the room we were in.
"J stay here with the other three. This is something I have to deal with myself." I ran out of the room, finding the back staircase and heading up.

Taehyung, I'm almost to the top floor. Please tell me you're still safe.

He didn't answer. My heart rate sped up as I went as fast as I could up the stairs. At the top, the door I went through lead to the lobby of the building. I ran around trying to find another set of stairs, trying to avoid the elevator because I didn't know if it would be fast enough.
"Looking for the stairs?" A guy comes out from behind the fountain in the middle of the room.
"Who are you? Where are you keeping him!" He comes closer to me. Displaying the most disgusting smirk.
"Why would you settle for a hybrid X. When you have someone right in front of you who is a hundred times better than that silly cat." He circled around me. Whispering how much of a better team we would be if we were together.
"Get lost! I don't need you! I have a partner."  He laughed. He stopped right in front of me.
"Are you sure? Then where is he? If he knew you were here, he would've already come to help you." I was starting to get frustrated. I knew exactly what he was trying to do.
"Well no shit Sherlock. But it's kind of difficult when you have him tied up." I spat at him.
"And by the way. Your tough act doesn't scare me. I've dealt with people three times your height. People who weighed a whole lot more than your scrawny ass and was able to leave without a scratch." I walked towards him, seeing his confidence slowly betray him by leaving.
" Now, you're going to tell me where Taehyung is the easy way. Or the hard way." he shrunk down a little to where we were at eye level. Right when I thought I had him, he grabbed the gun out of my holster and shot mythigh. I fell to the floor, trying to hold back the tears.
"I'm picking the hard way. But I guess that's the easy way now." He started walking away and I could feel myself start to get dizzy. I looked over at the guy, he was still within a good distance. Trying to quickly grab a dagger, I aimed as best as I could at his head. I threw it as hard as I could, praying it would hit him. And to my luck it did. He wailed out as he collapsed to the floor. Holding his shoulder.
"Dammit." I got up off the floor, limping over to where he was laying. He was gasping for air as I walked over. When I got closer, I saw that the dagger through where his left lung was.
"Ya know. I should've told you before, but the easy way always ends up being the hard way. And I always win." I took the dagger out of him and walked over to the elevator.
