I kept running until my legs hurt and I felt like I wanted to pass out from exhaustion. Stopping, I gasped for breath as quietly as I could. You never can be too careful.

When, I regained my breath I started running again. I ran, jogged, and walked until I found a road. I stayed off of it and headed in the opposite direction.

Cities aren't safe, because there are too many silencers. And that obviously means trouble. I blew my auburn hair out of my face. The wind was chilly and made me wish I had on more layers.

All I had on was a jacket, boots, some not so very warm socks, a graphic t-shirt, and some black pants. I grinned though, even if I was freezing I was alive and my graphic t-shirt had a picture of the band Imagine Dragons on it. That was the only thing that made me feel normal.

Everything else reminded me I could die at any moment. My face was pretty scratched up and had dried blood all over it. My boots were scuffed up and the laces were torn in some places.

Sorry it was a short chapter, but I can't focus. My mouth has been bleeding all day. And my mouth is full of blood, right now. Good night everyone and enjoy the song. This isn't "The One That Got Away" by Katy Perry. This is the one by Civil Wars. Which fits da story.
