Later on the sky and clouds turn grey, then black. The moon rises and the stars come out. I only took one peek outside even though it was probably a really bad idea. The silencers would have seen the curtains move and me inside. I just had to see though, even if it was really stupid. I scold myself. Your not a kid anymore, Lita. Your...... sixteen or fifteen. Suddenly, I can't remember. No, not suddenly. I never have really kept track of the days. I wanted to, but I couldn't. It's been over a year, because winter has come and gone. Then, it happened again. And again. So yeah, it's been three years and I'm sixteen. Soon, though it'll be four years since the outbreak.
I sit up and pick Hope up too. She's super soft and the most adorable thing ever! Quietly, we head to the back room and lay down in the floor. It's not safe to sleep in the bed, because a silencer could see us through the window. That word again. Safe. It seems like nothing and nowhere is safe anymore. I miss the old days where I felt safe. Where I could enjoy sunny days and my friends' company. I still remember them, Violet had blonde hair and green eyes. Tiana had black hair and brown eyes. I still remember the sleepovers we had, talking about our lives and how messed up they were. I was so silly back then, we all were really. We all didn't think about the "it could be worse" scenario.

Sorry that was short, but I wanted to write before I went shopping w/ my family. I'm going to start adding little titles to the chapters, because it sounds a tad bit more exciting than Chapter blahblahblah. Anyways, I'll write later.
