Rey wiped a hand across her sweaty face as she vacuumed up the last of the sand from the floor of the house.

It had taken them months to finally get all of it out, it was everywhere. Even with Chewie's help, the home of Luke Skywalker was still uninhabitable. At least, it was until today. Once Ben and Chewbacca returned from Mos Eisley with new power cells, it would be.

Huffing, she carried the ancient machine back up the steps to the surface of Tatooine. Pressing a small button on the side, she returned the sand to the dunes around the homestead.

"No one's lived in that place for years, who are you?" came a raspy voice.

Turning back around, Rey saw a frail old woman atop a saddled dewback.

She greeted the woman, "I'm Rey."

"And what's your family name, Rey?" the woman asked again.

Rey stood back for a second, unsure of what to say. There were many answers to that question, only some of them true. She still hadn't gotten used to having a last name, having gone her whole life without one.

"Um-" she stuttered, "I-"

The Falcon landed beside them, preventing her from saying another word. Ben and Chewie disembarked from it, each with a crate in hand. After setting his down beside the door of the hut, Ben joined the two women. He took one of Rey's hands in his, pulling it to his lips to kiss the thin wooden band on her finger.

"Solo, her name is Rey Solo."
