Oakley POV

*October 15 2014*

"Ley, why are you still in bed?" exclaims Mara, Wednesday morning at 8 am.

"Sick?" I mumble.

"Yeah right." She says before leaving.

About six minutes later, 3 people are jumping on the bed.

"Wake up Oakley!!" is yelled by someone; I'm guessing is Willow.

"Fine." I grumble, pulling the comforter down to find Gwen, Mara and of course Willow all on top of my bed.

"Good. I have a cup of coffee and a cream cheese bagel in my car. You have 5 minutes."states Mara, as they climb off my bed and head to her car.

Frowning, I start getting ready.

Four and fifty-two minutes later, I'm tumbling into the back of Mara's car.  Willow of course, is laughing.

"What so funny?" I ask, while buckling my seat belt.

"You look like Chester the giant bunny." She giggles.

We all look at her, (except Mara of course. She look at Willow through the mirror.)

"Ok..." whispers Gwen, before I kick the back of her seat. We drop Willow of at school, then head to Sheild.

 ..................................................................

When we arrive, Gwen disappears so Mara and I head to our lockers.

"Um..hey Oakley." Says a nervous voice and turn to see Logan.

"Logan." I nod, putting my backpack away.

"I'm sorry about, you know, the party." He says, running his hands through his hair.

"It's ok." I state quickly, before taking my bagel and coffee.

I'm more worried about Charlotte, I think heading to Mara's locker.

At lunch, Mara and I grab our table outside.

"So, anything bad happen?" wonders Scott, as he comes to sit down on the other side of the table.

"Not yet, but we have cheer-leading practice after school today." I reply, rubbing my hands nervously.

Half way through lunch, Landon comes up to our table.

"Mind if I sit with you guys?" he ask, looking very tired.

"Of course!" says Gwen, batting her eye lashes.

Landon visibly relaxes oblivious to Gwen's actions, and takes a seat beside Mara (who cheeks go slightly red. I need to ask her about that.) The rest of lunch was very awkward, but hey, what can you do.

 ..............................................................

Don't panic, I think before entering the gym to get to the change room after school. When I walk into the change room, all the girls are looking at me.

Breathe, Ley.

Quickly I change into yoga-ish short shorts and a tank top.

I'm warming up when Charlotte comes up beside me a starts stretching,

"I'm surprise you showed up." She whispers so I'm the only one that can hear.

She then tells everyone to gather and we start practice.

>>>>>>>>>>

"Oakley!" yells Charlotte, for the billionth time this practice.

Groans are echoed, both from the squad and the basketball team who are practicing too.

"You're off beat!!" she exclaims.

"Sorry." I mutter, the color of my cheeks rising.

"Obviously you need to try harder. Let's do that again." she huffs.

We go into formation.

I'm the flyer, so I'm the one who's throne in the air. The move we have be trying to attempt is a platform (Two people holding my feet up), than I do a flip. I can do it, honest but the two people that are my bases are Charlotte's minions.

Once I'm up, Charlotte's starts the music. I'm about to do my flip when the two minions launch me into the basketball court.

Instinctively, I close my eyes and when I nervously open them I see two things.

First, a crowd of the cheerleaders and the basketball players.

And second, that I am on top of someone.

That someone being Logan Bell.

Of course my cheeks turn beat read.

"S...sorry." I squeak and am met with both laughter from the cheerleaders and a groan from Logan.

Realizing I am still on top of him, I sit up. That doesn't go to well, since when I start walking, my ankle rolls and I obviously fall over. This gets another horrible cackle out of Charlotte.

"Are you ok?" asks Jaden Mosby, the shooting guard (you know the second in command) and the guy who found Gwen at Logan's party.

"I'm fine, thank you." I say, trying my best to put a forced smile.

"You don't look to good. You should get it checked." Insists Jaden, who pulls me up.

"It's fine. I mean it doesn't hurt..." I say then wince when I take a step forward, "That much."

Then out of the blue, Jaden squats with his back facing me.

"What are you doing?" I ask.

He then turns his head and looks at me.

"Giving you a pigging back ride. Duh." He states. M

y ankle does hurt, I think.

"Um...ok." I say, climbing on to his back and we head to the parking lot.

"Um, where are you going?" I wonder out loud.

He chuckles, "Are you always so clueless?"

"Actually, I am a strait A student thank you." I frown.

He shakes his head. "I'm giving you a ride to the hospital."

Walking over to his run down old navy blue truck, he puts me down. I hop into the passenger side (with Jaden's help).

"Why not the doctors? The hospital's in North Chester!" I pout, as Jaden climbs into the driver's side and starts the car.

"Fine, but we probably need to go there anyway." He shrugs.

What does he know, I think. He's not a doctor.
